Cat Craft 28" Tall Jute Fiber Cat Scratching Post with Replaceable Dangle Toy, Gray

My cat is long, so she outgrew the height of her first scratching post rather quickly. She loves this one because she can stretch all the way to the top. It's hard to get good pictures of her stretching all the way to the top because she moves so quickly, but trust me when I say she loves it.

It took a while for my two tabbies, Aurora and Mercury, to warm up to this scratcher. I mainly got it for my tiger cub boy, Mercury, who won't let me trim his claws. So scratching surfaces as well as his own maintenance (it's fascinating to watch) have to suffice. It took rubbing the whole scratching post with catnip and Aurora enjoying it before Mercury decided it was a good thing. Considering how simple the assembly was, the post is surprisingly sturdy. It's standing up to the 30 lb Mercury very well. Also, the sisal material seems to be attached well to the post. About the only flimsy thing is the carpeted base: the material is fairly thin and it doesn't look like it'll hold up very long under Aurora's determined claws. But that's a very minor inconvenience. I'd definitely buy this again!

It’s nice and good for the price my cats like it too easy to assemble

Finley loves it! He's 2 years old and loves scratching posts, and this did not disappoint. Its tall enough he can stretch all the way to the top which is a bonus. How long will it last? Who knows yet, but the price was good, its sturdy, and every time he uses it (which is a lot) I'm thankful he always uses scratching posts instead of my furniture and walls. It was a good deal for both of us.

My fur babies love this!

Probably the best one I've had yet. It came in two smaller diameter sections than previous model, but my cats use the upper section to scratch and stretch. It can be interchanged with the lower once worn and double the life. It's taller, which is good, but could use a bit wider base for the height. Lasts a lot longer than seagrass.

Good flash deal. This tall cat scratching post is useful in my house with 5 cats. All of my cats use this post to scratch and to release their frustration practically every day. This was a good buy at a lower Walmart flash deal price.

It's perfect price, size and great for my 3 cats. Best of all they scratch that and play instead of my furniture or rugs. I should go ahead and get another one

My cat loves it. The extra height is quite nice for our cat. Easy to put together. Put it next to the recliner she was starting to scratch and eliminated damage to our furniture.

This is a great item. At first my kitty didn't pay any attention to it but now she uses it all the time.
