This is the second one of these I have purchased. Have to be careful you chose an option that will be the correct depth for the door or insert you will be installing the door into. I had to return this one because I bought one that was too thick for the board I installed it in but see photo for how I am using the “slim” profile door. Price is nice!

I love it. The only thing I would change is the fact that this can be inlocked %26 opened by anyone on the outside %26 big enough so they could stick their head into my house and look around. This eill eork for me tho' since it is in the back bedroom that is closed off to the rest. quality build. Happy

Large cat door to allow them to come and go down the basement without having to prop open the door. You will have to cut a door to install so a jigsaw will be needed. Good for someone who knows what they are doing or you will damage your door. Best for big cats so get a smaller one if you have a little guy.

It's easy to assemble. My only issue with the design is because the sliding locks are at the bottom, my cats would accidentally brush against them and lock themselves out. I had to super glue the sliding locks. Otherwise, it works well for the price!

It was not the right thickness for what I was wanting to do with it. However, I was able to trim it up to accomplish the goal. If you run into that issue it was simple to use a dremmel to trim the plastic off to make it the size I needed.

Had to remove locks for it to operate properly but has held up well for heavy use lock is easily snapped back in place when needed. Overall good for the price

We're still trying to figure out how we're going to install this in a window. We've got to find something to fill in the area around the pet door that will fit within the window's frame. It would be super helpful if this came with the accordion style sides that come with a window ac unit. It would be helpful to pick between a window or door installation with added accessories.

It's a bit small , although I ordered a large size( it almost) doesn't accommodate my 2 girls. Also the flap should have some kind of textured door as my cats struggle with getting it open as the material for the flap is very slick and their little paws skid right off of it.All in all I would recommend for a temporary outlet for cats.

Door is too flimsy to keep cats in or out. I lock mine in feed room at night to protect from coyotes. They pushed on door %26 got out first night. The sliders are light plastic without locks.

Very poor instructions resulted in backwards installation. I had to modify the weather stripping by the locks as it would not open/close freely. NO WEATHER STRIPPING AT THE TOP EDGE OF THE DOOR RESULTED IN DOZENS OF FLIES IN THE HOUSE!!! Since I had to modify it, I can't return it.
