Catan: Explorers & Pirates Expansion Strategy Board Game for Ages 12 and up, from Asmodee

very creative, uses original Catan pieces too and integrates the original principles along with Catan America along with new ideas. Uo to scenario 3 now, out of 5 scenarios designed for this game. Kids 12 to 18 enjoying it

Great expansion for an already great game. Comes with a lot of extra objectives, game pieces, etcetera. Walmart had a great deal for this game. Gave it as a gift and my sister-in-law loved it!

This expansion is a great add to the original Catan game. It really opens up a whole new world of playing and refreshes an old favorite of mine. I would suggest this to any veteran of Catan. All it requires is the original version to play this expansion.

It came on time and had cheaper prices than other places!

The product was on sale $10 cheaper than other stores and was shipped in a timely manner.

Quick shipping and came in excellent condition. Minor nitpick would be that some of connections between the board pieces are slightly loose, so make sure to play on a flat, even surface. There are multiple scenarios, each gradually adding a new concept to the game, which is great for learning the new rules. Another thing to note is that this expansion roads shifts the emphasis away from roads/development cards, so be prepared for that.

I was disappointed to find that the Catan box I received, which was supposed to be brand new, arrived already opened, ripped, missing pieces, and in poor condition. After filing a claim with customer service, I received a replacement. Although the replacement was not missing any pieces, the box itself still had some dents and minor damage.

Fun game. Took a little longer than expected to arrive.

this game was purchased as a gift. I have no idea if it is good or not. I do not waste my time gaming.

The low star count has to do with the Game requires a base game. That was not at all clear at time of purchase. So the stars at 1 are to get you to read, YOU NEED A BASE GAME in order to use this game.
