very good quality works great
My husband ordered these and is very pleased with the quality!
I used the oars as hand rails on my stairs in my home which is on a saltwater creek and has a nautical theme. They worked out rather well. I cancelled the second set due to back order delays and am awaiting a charge back to my card!
I think these oars are a decent value. They are a bit clunky/heavy, but seem very strong/sturdy. A really nice oar would be lighter but much more expensive.
These oars (I bought a pair of course) seem well made of an excellent quality clear wood. Finish is good. The blades seems a bit thick but I would not compromise the finish by attempting to sand them thinner. Recommend.
Light weight oar that serves it's purpose. I lost an oar duck hunting and needed a replacement quick. Used these 3 different times and they worked well but I was afraid to lay into them rowing into the wind. On a sturdy scale of 1-10 they would average about a 4.
These oars are simple, roughly varnished and--basically--as represented and a good cheap value.
Bought these and the ends where chipped which if water soaked these would be no good at the end of summer. These are sold by WalMart but shipped by another company. They would do the job but i don't want to replace them every year.
The oars were short (6'-4 and 6'-4 1/2") not 6'-6"as in the add
Small paddles, cheaply made. I scrapped them and bought good oars.
