I used this to spray paint an old full length mirror. It had such great coverage and was easy to use and apply evenly. I saved myself a hundred dollars easily by using this spray paint on my old mirror and giving it new life instead of buying a new mirror.
This Rustoleum color is a perfect match to some gorgeous picture frames I bought at a steal of a price. I wanted to spray paint several other frames I have to match those. The color Champagne Bronze was a perfect blend of bronze and gold to give them the touch of old world gold. When I buy spray paint, I usually pick a Rustoleum color. It usually matches the color on the lid the best! No dripping, dries fast and for all my project.
Warm gold: looks like the color on the cap to me. Used a Rust-Oleum white primer over a red Christmas tree collar then used two coats of Warm Gold. The color is not as dark as I would like. I was looking for an antique gold but this served its purpose.
this is used on my oil drum. i use it every ear t o keep rust off and it works. good paint and good price.
This is a very nice color without being too bronze or too gold, if day it leans way more to a champagne color. I painted a metal wall piece and paired this with black, it looks very rich and not gaudy.
I bought this to cover an old, previously painted vintage floor lamp. It worked ok, but the "bronze" color came out look more brown, and it didn't have a metallic sheen like I hopeed for--it was closer to amore matte look. But I used it, and the lamp looks fine, althoughI'm debating on if I want to add a third coat. Glad I had a can of mineral spirits/paint thinner handy for cleanup, becaus this stuff covered my hands, and thinner cleaned it well.
NOT THE COLOR ON THE CAP. The paint has a nice finish and covers well, but disappointed because I wanted the color that is on the cap. This doesn't even look gold. It looks more of a champagne color. If you can't trust the color on the cap, how do you choose a color?
Don't put it on anything that can possibly have it washed off like the dishwasher if it's gonna get wet it will start peeling start peeling
I got two cans from Walmart on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The first can, as I was opening it the top exploded like and spray went everywhere. The push part was broken off, so I could not use it. The second one work well, but it did not cover very well. I believe they costed $12.97 a can. I was disappointed to have one can that needed tossed and the other one did not do the job well
The Charcoal, Rust-Oleum Metallic Paint is not metallic. This is the first time I've regrated trusting a Rust-Oleum product. I'm glad I tested on some other than what I'd intended to paint, I'd be so angry. It does make a lot of drip marks, and it doesn't spray evenly. Disappointed is far better than anger. Also, since it's not metallic, it's extremely overpriced. I wasted money on this product because normally Rust-Oleum products are true to their descriptions. This is not. Buy something else.
