Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver Jelly, 8 fl oz

i received this item to update my badly rusted radiator covers. i decided to return without using because I also ordered White, Rustoleum Soray to cover my rusted radistor covers and the spray wirked so well that I didn't need this product. I am sure this works just as good as the White? Linoleum Spray can.

I have a number of tools that have surface rust on them from Storage and humidity. I use this on a tap from a tap and die set. the tool was orange with rust. I left this on overnight and in the morning they rust was gone.

got it thank you

My 1960 Thunderbird needed some deep cleaning from 30 years in the sun. Rustoleum Dissolver was just what I needed. Easy to apply (one bottle cleaned entire hood) and follow directions to cover the gel while it works to dissolve rust., then light scrub with scrub pad or 000 steel wool. Rinse with water and 29 years washed away!

I was skeptical of the product because it came in jelly form and at a very reasonable price. I used a paint brush to apply it to a gray painted service door specifically in the vent area where I had lots of rust. I applied it waited a few minutes and wiped off the rust. Then I cleaned the area with soap and water because the jelly leaves a little film. My plan was to let it sit for 24 hours and then paint it. But the next day I looked at it and it didn't need any paint. It looks great. I was surprised at how well it worked on the surface rust.

I used on two car wheels. I sanded the first one down and applied the jelly. Fifteen minutes later I washed off with a sponge and water. I dried it quickly because the was also bare metal next to the rust. All of the rust was gone, leaving black pits behind. Worked great. The second wheel was not sanded. The jelly was brushed on liberally and brushed back %26 forth repeatedly, then left for 15 minutes. Cleaned off with water and quickly dried. I don't know why, but half of the rust was still there. I'm gonna sand the second wheel down and apply again. I'm sure it's going to work really good. Plus, after sanding it will be ready for primer and top coat.

There should be an option for an item that has not yet been used. I will not be able to test this until a later date and time.

Delivery service was excellent, but I was disappointed with the product because it looked like someone had opened it in half of it was gone and they must've returned it

I'm not able to provide a rating because the bottle leaked all over everything inside the package ruining all of the other products. There was less than a teaspoon left inside this bottle.

The lid was loose and it leaked out!
