Brown, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Rusty Metal Primer Spray Paint-7769830, 12 oz

I was covering some wire cages. This was recommended to increase adherence to the wire. I have bought it in both the white and light gray. I covered this primer with black high heat rustoleum. The white adhered better even though it was opposite in color to the black. (Would not get the non white color again). It required two coats to cover the primer. It was quick drying so the process went quicker. I did have one of those sprayer tops that was as convenient as sliced bread. I used dozens of cans. Would use again. Easy to use. Quick drying. Shipped from Walmart promptly. Price was comparable to other vendors.

The finish of this product is exceptionally correct according to the description! The dry time is so fast, that by the time you want to add the cap to the can you can cover it with the glossy coat. It definitely takes crafts to new heights! If you value practicing time management, this is the product for you!

Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer is the best and been my go-to for home auto repair work for 30 years. Don't need to remove all rust; it soaks in and smooths the surface a lot. Items painted/sprayed with it many years ago show no signs of new rust. Amazing.

Cleaned up my ac vent in kitchen.Was really dirty,plus greasy and had a little rust.Painted it with this paint and it looks great.

Good primer. I use this product on metal objects that I am redoing. Provides great coverage and helps achieve a nice painted finish after adding topcoats of paint.

Turned my terrible deck furniture from gross green to a rich brown. A much more economical solution than replacement.

Paints amazing but it one job its not done. Need to get another one. to finish the three layer guard, but it looks so far so good just one workout.

Too expensive for the amount of coverage provided. They do not make it easy to find out how much paint you will need for a given project. L

It is what was needed for my project, but the spray did not work. I should get I did everything possible I even wiped off the front and it just used out paint instead of spray paint.

the color was exactly the same as the cap on the can. halfway thru my project the paint just stopped. now I'm stuck with a half can of paint and a half finished bicycle. very very aggravated. have researched a little online and discovered this is a common problem for this brand of paint. shame on you Rust-Oleum.
