Char-Broil 214887 Classic 280 2-Burner LP Gas Grill

It's identical to the old one I just had to retire. A good, basic grill that's perfect for me. Assembly looked intimidating, but it actually went together very smoothly. The defining reasons I got it from Wal-Mart were that 1) it was the cheapest price for this model, and 2) they had free delivery! I even live in a rural area. That saved me a lot of mileage and hassle.

This grill is very nice! The instructions definitely made it much harder to out together than i anticipated. Definitely worth the 150 bucks i payed for it though. Came quick and undamaged.

Have the larger Pro-Series SS Infra-Red 4-burner that is Awesome, but wanted a smaller every day griller for that spontaneous burger, steak, chop or what have you. My son hearing of this and hinting his Bday is coming and one would be nice outside of his Toy-Hauler Trailer, I Bought two of the Classic 2-burner. We have both used them once in the past week after assembly and are impressed! Good sized grilling area for a compact size, light weight grill and cooks up a storm! Very pleased.

Very satisfied with delivery. Came when expected. Perfect for a senior with no other way to get a new grill!

We love it! We had the same one for years. Fits prefect on our small deck.

This is the 3rd Classic I've bought in 27 years. Construction and quality of this new one is even better!

Perfect size, 2 burner gas grill for my small family. Assembly was not difficult, but assembling by yourself is awkward at times. After assembling the entire grill and hooking up to my propane tank the grill would not ignite. I smelled no gas and heard no sound of gas being sent to the burners from the tank. I called Char Broil customer service and explained the problem to the representative who was attentive and helpful. She stated the gas regulator was probably bad and that she would send a new one at no cost to me. After receiving the new gas regulator, I removed the old unit and replaced it with the new regulator. The gas flowed freely with the new regulator and the grill worked right away! I have used the grill three times, and I am very pleased with the results. My only issue was in the manufacturing process since I received a faulty gas regulator. Thanks to customer service for making this purchase a positive experience.

Assembly was horrific. One side of the burners is not working so I need to take it apart and see what is wrong.

Don't actually know how it works b/c we ordered this grill which says natural gas, and TWICE they sent their American Gourmet PROPANE grill. One of the Walmart reps on "chat" ("chat" gets 5 stars for customer service though) actually had them contact me and they don't seem to even carry the natural gas grill b/c they told me to "keep the one I mistakenly got and do whatever I wanted with it" but they couldn't replace it. I got a really nice Dynaglow @ Home Depot instead (each delivery of the wrong one took a week ~ Home Depot took day. And our Angi person did put together the 1st wrong grill before he realized it wasn't natural gas, and it was very flimsy look. The Home Depot grill cost more but it's 4 burners and beautiful!)

Cheap! Every piece is cheap from the frame to the side tables to the grates. I honestly don't know what it's made of - tin, aluminum, steel, ? The last char broil I bought was 5 years ago for $99. This is the newer version for almost double and 1/2 as much. Very disappointed.
