George Foreman 4-Serving Removable Plate Grill and Panini Press, Black, GRP1060B

I've had several George Forman grills and replace them when they have so much burn through on the plates that cleaning is arduous. I'd had one other removable plate one years ago that I gave to a friend because the plates didn't heat well, but this one heats well, and I LOVE the fact that you can remove the plates easily and either handwashing or put in the dishwasher. It takes a little bit longer to warm up than the ones with the non-removable plate, but it's well worth it for the easy cleanup. Also loving the fact that it's bigger than the one that I had, but not too big for my little kitchen.

For $20, this was a great buy. I have the original white GF grill. We've been using it a lot for bacon and hamburgers. It keeps the grease from splattering so much. But this new one has removeable plates, and boy does it make cleaning so much easier. It is shorter width-wise. But not really that big of a deal. The bacon starts out sticking out a wee bit, but as it cooks, it shrinks up enough to fully fit 4 slices.

This grill is perfect! The pop out plates are wonderful for cleaning. If you are a one person family, it is amazing to cook a meal each day. The meat is done in 7 minutes or less and very tasty. I also put the vegetables on the grill, and I am eating in less that fifteen minutes.

I've had other George Foreman grills & was reasonably happy with them. This grill I adore! Has removable plates & cleans up easy. Holds 2 large chicken breasts or pork chops at a time. Has a "dummy" green light that tells you when the grill is ready to cook and the same green light clicks & appears lit when food is done. If I rely on the light for cooking doneness then it tends to be overcooked & slightly dry. So a slight modification on shortened cooking times & I couldn't be happier with the results. Have used this grill near daily for approx a month because it is so versatile. I've cooked grilled cheese/paninis, stuffed burritos, bacon, hash browns, quesadillas, fajita tenders & cheese steaks with good results. It even grilled my vegetarian daughter's marinated tofu perfectly. The texture & browning of the food is superior to any other indoor grill or stove top pan I have used. It is so user friendly and convenient that we rarely go out to eat anymore. Whole heartedly recommend for a max of 4 people household. It's not too big or wasteful for a single serving either.

Affordable small compact indoor grill for two people. Love the removable plates for easy cleaning. Small enough to put in a cabinet or on a shelf and not take up much room. It grills very quickly. So quickly you may need to adjust the time down a little from whats recommended in the instructions. Love this little grill. For two people it's the perfect size.

The lazy mans best friend , easy to clean and the little grease trap ensures that you have the makings for homemade suet ! My burgers are never under or over cooked and unlike my ex GF it doesn't complain while the burgers are cooking. It also works well with Steak Ums and breaded chicken patties.

I like the efficiency of preparation and flavor of grilled food. Cleaning up is still messy and back of grill plates becomes oxidized creating an almost impossible cleaning job. I don't remember this problem with my previous George Foreman.

I'm single and was looking for a nice, easy to clean, George Foreman grill. After reading many reviews on here I decided on this one. The removable plates are the #1 reason to purchase! Talk about easy to clean!!! At first it smoked a little in the back but then it went away, I think it was because of first use, nothing to worry about. It fits two decent size chicken breasts. Haven't tried anything else yet!

The store was out of this item, so I'm glad that I could go online to have it delivered, which was on time. For the price, it's worth it for easy draining of the meat. It's also a better cooking gadget than the other Foreman Grills that could not remove the plates for cleaning.

Previous George Foreman grills included an easy way to level the grill for cooking brats and hot dogs. This new one does not — and at its steep angle and with its nonstick surface, brats simply slide down to the bottom of the grill and bunch up, whether the upper grill is on or off. Disappointed they lost this feature. It was a simple plastic piece in the back of the grill that swung one way for a steep grill and another way for a level grill. A brilliant design — so why lose it?
