We purchased this for our son for his birthday because my husband was so pleased with the one I'd purchased for him for HIS birthday. My son put it together and grilled on it the first day that he received it and has several MORE times. He continues to thank us for purchasing it for him. He and his wife are enjoying healthier menus cooked in this way without the kitchen mess and clean up after cooking. After grilling the meat and any veggies over the mesquite wood or charcoal it is a GREAT advantage to keep foiled wrapped food warm on the upper shelf, and you can continue to grill other food on the main grill. It also aids if you want to allow your meat to cook on the bottom grill to get that great smoked flavor and outer browning, but let it cook slowly for moisture. LOVE IT!!

My wife and I put this together in about an hour and a half, the only problem we had was putting the screws through the legs into the grill, they stripped 3 of them did anyway they're angled funny, other than that it's a very heavy duty grill, the cast iron racks are beautiful, we're going to make sure to take very good care of them so they don't rust since cast iron is prone to rusting, can't wait to use it on Sunday, thank you thank you thank you!

Wonderful Grill for an amazing price. My first smoker grill and the food was delicious. I have a gas grill/stove also. The char griller heats fast, the temperature gage is great and allows for less checking on your food to determine when you need to flip the food over. Truly gave that amazing bbq taste to our food.

I purchased this product thinking the price was great but expecting a semi sized, semi quality product. BOY was I surprised!!!!!!! This product was too heavy for me to move, so I had to unpack the box , each by piece. It took me about 2.5 hrs to put together, single handedly, but I got it done!! Due to the unexpected size, I had to change its location on my deck... Definitely very well pleased!!!!

I love this grill. its a great value for your money. hot and fast cooks are a breeze on this grill but you are also capable of doing long smokes on this grill. the barrel shape makes it perfect for big cuts of meats like boston butts and briskets. can fit and smoke 2 racks of ribs easily.

t ath The smoker attachment does not come with grill. Pictures of the item show it with the smoker attachment on it which is somewhat misleading. I assumed it came with the grill and wasn't an add on expense. Had this been clearer, then I probably would have purchased a different item which did include the smoker attachment.

This is a solid beast, which was immediately apparent when it was delivered. The packaging indicated its weight as 79 pounds! It was easy to assemble. Two people make this easier if one reads the instructions and the other executes. Two people makes the flipping over step easier also. I have one observation though. Firstly the grill grate comes a four separate pieces — each one is about 8 inches wide. I do not anticipate this being an issue when cooking, but a single monolithic grate would make that concern moot. More troubling is that the cooking surface of the grates is straight from the cast iron mold, and as such is VERY ROUGH. Before the seasoning process I smoothed these (4 grates) using an angle grinder with a 40 grit flap disc. Leaving the cooking surface rough is an invitation for good to stick regardless of how much seasoning is done. Great grill

The idea of the product is awesome . Great budget friendly unit. But there is no handle , there's a bunch of quality issues . Paint chips , dents and dings. Random piece of cardboard glued to the unit that won't come off . I guess I just got the unlucky draw in the quality department . Unless this is an everlasting issue from this unit.

The Barrel Pro and the Firebox/Portable Pro are not sold with appropriate connector spacers to attach the firebox to the Barrel Pro. It has been quite an ordeal trying to buy the parts from Menards to attach the firebox. I do not recommend either of the grills.

Easy to assemble, took about 45 minutes, unfortunately after i assembled it i found that the grill grates were damaged, emailed the company, the grates are on back order so i had to return to walmart, which required me to disassemble it so it would fit in the box so another 45 minutes and then had to return and explain to the walmart associate why i was returning it, they understood and were helpful, but i can't recommend this product, maybe i was just unlucky, price was good, but its worthless if you can't cook on it! Seemed well made overall!
