Char-Griller® Trigger Quick Release Chimney Starter with Heat Shield

The Char-Griller works equally well with lump or briquette charcoal and is ready to go after only 13-15 minutes. I had no problems with the handle-operated hinged floor (which is handy), but I always rinse off the chimney after each use and wipe the release pin with cooking oil. The Char-Griller seems to be built as well as the other products on the market such as the Weber or Kingsford, and it holds a good amount of charcoal. Minuses - it's not made of stainless steel, and it takes a strong wrist to hold this chimney with one hand when filled with charcoal.

This is one of the best Chimney Starters we have purchased. It's heavy duty, larger than most, and having the bottom release for the charcoal instead of the solid bottom is very convenient. Great purchase!

This chimney is awesome! Holds an adequate amount of charcoal. Lights quickly. Love how easy it is to simply dump the coals from the bottom of the chimney.

Have only used it twice. Sometimes block charcoal gets stuck but thats to be expected. I have one without the trigger but im giving it to my daughter too.
