the instructions to assemble left a lot to be desired. i had to take the wheels off twice because the bottom rack was on upside down...which was not clear in the instructions and then again to hook the rack in the leg hole which also wasnt clear. otherwise. its ok. dont try to assemble on a windy day.
Weber is a good brand. I like the round ones because they have a vent in the bottom. If guests pour water in to put fire out, the water leaks out of the bottom %26 doesn't rust out making them last much longer than the barrel grills. It is much easier to get the ashes out, sweeping them through the bottom vents to the holder below, then emptying the holder. Also, it has quality material. This Jumbo round grill is plenty big for 8 persons whatever they're cooking.
We've used a BIG Weber for years until it finally fell apart. Decided to downsize to this smaller tub size . Pleasantly surprised on how similar this Weber grill cooks like the bigger Weber but using less charcoal Same great Weber quality %26 workmanship. Wish it had a rod attached to the metal plates covering the bottom air vents but that can easily be fixed. Grills meats %26 veggies wonderfully. We recommend this grill for all your grilling needs.
I love this grill! I bought a rotisserie for it and love grilling chicken with it. It's well made and the finish is beautiful. It's easy to move around with the wheels and the ash tray is easy to empty. I don't use the rake underneath but it's handy if you need one.
This is a great little grill that has excellent temperature control for what it is. The ash catcher is probably not as easy to use as other more expensive models, but still does the job. I have been cooking on this using 2/3 of the side with charcoal and leaving about a third open for indirect cooking. Steaks and chops have been coming out with amazing flavor and cooked to perfection. I have been using natural lump charcoal and when some of the pieces are small, they drop to the bottom, not a big issue. Would definitely purchase this product again. Very happy with it.
Weber quality at a reasonable price. I considered the smaller (14") portable but despite not usually needing 22" chose the bigger one on legs. You don't have to use the entire surface of the grill if you don't need to but you have it for when you do. I expect it to last many years like my last Weber.
Way more shallow and flatter bottom than expected. Resulted in more grease fires. I didn't realize this wasn't the classic teardrop-shaped weber I was trying to replace.
It is not nearly the quality of my previous Weber but it was much cheaper. This version doesn't have a thermometer in the lid. You have to get on your knees to see the bottom vent adjustment. My old Weber had hinged access on each side of the rack to access the charcoal. This one doesn't.
Missing price (vent slider) and it's too cumbersome to disassemble and return and too confusing (without the serial number) to get a replacement piece from Weber. So…every time I go to use this grill I'll be reminded of the missing piece and my meats will have a tinge of disappointment flavor.
I would love to rate this grill but it was never delivered and stolen by the delivery driver or Walmart because i was still charged for it and never received a grill nor a refund
