Charbroil Deluxe Charcoal & Gas Combination Cart Grill

I liked the product, it even met my expectations.

The charcoal and propane options are great. Plenty of grilling space, especially with the side burner. The only thing that is discouraging is that after less than two months the igniting component for the grill side stopped working. The igniter for the burner works but not the actual grill.

All in all, it's not too bad despite small issues with dents. The FedEx delivery was 2 hours past it's delivery window, but I waited it out to help the driver unload as it's a heavy grill, and I'd seen several pics of deliverymen mishandling large/heavy items. The box only had minor scratches/scrapes with no visible mishandling. I did a lot of reviews before ordering this grill and was concerned about shipping damage as well as damage that had to have happened before it was ever boxed. This was the case for me. Although, not as bad as many other reviews, Char-Broil's QC needs improving. I didn't order this from a scratch and dent sale! And, it was shipped directly from Char-Broil, fulfilled by Walmart. I've attached pics. Although the damage was small and I was able to use a rubber mallet to bend back in shape enough to put it together, it shouldn't be this way at all! And, I have some high temp black paint to touch up the marred paint spots. (One is on a dent in the pics) It took about 3 hrs. to assemble with all the misalignments/dents. Maybe that's what Charbroil does, sells their seconds through Walmart for a reduced price since Walmart's price and Char-broil's website price is greatly different. I haven't had a chance to fire it up, season it, then use it yet so time will tell how long it holds up. If I had paid what Charbroil lists it at on their website, I'd take it all apart, put it back in the box and send it back. And, Charbroil, if you're reading this take some advice: When you put that much weight into one large box, you're just asking for shipping damage. Also, directly from Charbroil's website description: Grate Material Porcelain Coated Cast Iron. This is not true. They are just cast iron. Again, is this a seconds oversite that they sell through Walmart? Buyer be informed.

Always thought highly of the brand first time use go out look at my pit after the next couple of days and all the paint is peeling off the top of it did not get the pit too hot actually was slow, cooking ribs in it and rusting in the paint peeling Wasn't even a week old

Bought this grill for my husband as a Father's Day present. Little did I know that they will send a damaged item and now to return it has become one of the worst process I've ever experienced. I've spoken to more than five different customer service agent and each one has a different guideline to proceed with the return. To the point that as of today, none seems to know how should i return this. One of them even told me to disassemble the grill to be able to send it back, after I paid $100 via Walmart for them to assemble it. Terrible experience. The third party vendor hasn't even return any of the messages and my money still on their pockets. Think it twice next time you're spending more than $10 at Walmart.com.

Would give this more if my grill didn't come super damaged. The box had big holes everywhere. When assembled I saw the severity of all the damage. Scratched in multiple places a massive dent in one hood and small dents in the other hood...the bottom shelve is caved in so unsafe to even put a propane tank. The grill itself worked great but the damage made this not worth the money I paid.

This grill arrived heavily damaged and Charbroil is refusing to return the item. I've been fighting with charbroil and Walmart for 10 days. Walmart will not return the item or do anything but send the seller a message. What a joke!! Over $500 I've paid for garbage! Don't buy this product or anything from charbroil for that matter!

Received my grill and the box and grill was damaged.. Finally got it picked back up and said, I couldn't order another one..
