Charles Leonard 74541 Aluminum Chalk Holder - Silver

This is a standard aluminium chalk holder. it is easy to write with and does not get chalk all over your hands. It comes with one piece of dustless chalk and if needed you can buy more at WalMart.

The product is great. My experience with the Walmart personnel...not so great.

As a teacher who suffers from "chalk allergies" still working in an environment that uses "chalk boards" this is a wonderful convenience. Thank you Wal-Mart for continuing to carry it and making it easy to order online for in-store pickup!

Simple item that works well in keeping you hands clean while using chalk. I bought 2 and am happy with the purchase.

was better than i expected

I bought this chalk holder to use with my upholstery work. I was accidently knocking my chalk off the table or dropping it, and of course it wouldn't stay in one piece. It solved that problem and no more chalk on your hands! So far, this holder works very well. I've only used it about three times. I'm hoping to get a lot of miles out of it.

I would recommend this to a friend because there are so few options for chalk holders at a reasonable price. I purchased 15 holders and the end caps on about 1/3 of them have come off.

This item is terrible quality! It fell apart the first time it was used. My daughter has been asking for an "old school" chalk holder for some time now, and we are very disappointed that this was such a poor quality purchase. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this item.

It's horrible. The chalk that actually comes INSIDE the holder doesn't even fit. It's slips all the way down. Very bad product. It's not defective. The spring(s) were not loose and no parts were broken or cracked so I don't know why it's getting OK reviews on Amazon.com

I bought this chalk holder to try to keep my hands clean when writing on the chalk board, but it lasted about a week before the clasp inside broke.
