Wanted a microwave or we could turn the sound off completely because we have people on different shifts in our house and didn't want to wake people with constant beeping. I love the handle of this microwave. You can actually put your hand in and pull up to open the door and it's quiet. I have arthritis and problems with my hands and this makes it much easier to use. Wipes clean easily after steaming a cup of water in a glass bowl. Best microwave we ever had! Black and silver matches my kitchen appliances. Very happy with this product! Got it for a great price
I thought about buying a big expensive microwave but I decided to go with this one. It looks very nice and is quite love the locking handle for child proof and the heat is great 30 seconds and it’s hot already. We will see how long it last then I will say more. Until then I do recommend this item.
Really like this microwave a lot. It is not hard to understand how to use and it cooks just as well as my old one. It is a pretty oven with all the stainless steel. The price was affordable and it has all the same features as my old one. I like that it's a 1 cubic ft. Cooking large dishes is not a problem. I would give this purchase a 5- star rating for how it has performed and the price of it also. Go have a look at it and see what you think. I wasn't disappointed with it.
I just received this chef-man microwave today I must say I just love the handle and don’t mind the trigger button at all. Our microwave cubby is set back into the wall under the cabinets. other microwaves I’ve had opened by pushing a button which was annoying because the microwave would move back each time I pushed and also I wonder about me having a straight thumb with not much of a finger pad just made it uncomfortable to push because my thumbnail would hit first. I’m getting up in years now so my joints in my hands are sensitive. So far I really like it.
This microwave so far is everything it's advertised to be..I have used Hamilton Beach microwaves in the past and everyone has rusted out within 7 to 8 months due to excessive sweating on the insides causing a fire hazard..I am praying I don't have the same issues with this one..the reviews I have read are good and I figured out the door handle fairly quick
We are very pleasantly surprised with the performance of this microwave. We had an 1100 W previously and it was much larger and whenever we would use it with our air fryer we would blow a fuse. We can use this one with the air fryer at the same time without any problem. I also like the fact that even though this one was less than half the price of our old one the old one came with a cardboard Thing on the inside right that if it got any food splattered on it would burn and ruin the microwave this one has a plastic covering in that spot so that you can just wash it or wipe it clean if food splatters on it. Some things take me a minute or two longer to heat up But my husband loves the fact that when he makes oatmeal in it it never boils over and goes all over the turntable plate. A regular size dinner plate fits fine also. We are very happy with it.
It does what it's meant to do. It would be 5 stars if not for the button on the door handle that I have to squeeze to open the door. It's an annoyance to remember to warn people before they yank the oven across the counter trying to open the dang door. Otherwise the buttons are easy to see and it has the 30 second instant start button that we use a lot.
Got it for the price. So I did not expect much. Works fine for the wattage. The button panel is not lighted so you need a light in times of semi-darkness. The button panel, Buttons wear down extremely quickly even with light use. You have to hold the %237 button down for “5” seconds to turn off the timer “area” light when done, if you don’t want just the light left on all the time. And every time after use. And it might also trigger the 7 minute timer sometimes and then you have to do it again. And so the %237 button is already disfigured and looks horrible along with the %231 which I use the most. So The button panel is very cheaply made. Other than that a microwave is not something I want to spend a lot of money on so it’s good enough for me.
Overall the unit is nice it is Replacing my Kenmore that I’ve had for 33 years . It won’t Shut off . The Chief unit , is 7 LBS lighter 14X22X12 about 16 lbs . LED lights and you can silence the when finish warning alert . It’s sounds a little “ Tinny”, but delivers . The attention to detail is great other than the Film that covers the “key Pad “, chensy . It does its job , ideal for the Shop, Man cave.
Smaller than expected, top of microwave gets quite hot and inside of microwave stays moist for long periods of time. Would Not recommend. I am 72 and have had microwaves most of my life and Never had such problems with a microwave. Either need a replacement or money back, unfortunately 😱😱
