Chefman Flip Belgian Waffle Maker w/ Non Stick Plates, Adjustable Timer - Black

I bought this to make Sunday morning waffles for my adult son, and it's turned into a whole routine we actually look forward to. We've had fun dialing in the process, and this waffle maker makes it easy to get consistent results. The waffles come out great every time. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I've even added unflavored protein powder and milk to the batter, set it to high, and cooked for about 3 minutes total, flipping halfway through. Works perfectly. They recommend brushing oil onto the Griddle instead of using spray, and I'd follow that advice. A simple baking brush does the trick and keeps everything in good shape. My favorite feature is the catch plate. I've overfilled it more than once, and instead of making a mess, it catches the overflow. Cleaning is very easy because of that. The nonstick surface wipes down quickly, so Cleaning is not a hassle at all. It heats up fast and cooks quickly, so the Speed is just right for making a few waffles without waiting around. It also doesn't take up much space, so I could see it being useful in a Camper or small kitchen. If you've ever used one of those waffle makers at a hotel breakfast, this has that same fun feel but with better results at home. I'd definitely recommend it.

Works really well and love that it not only flips and has an indicator light, but also that it turns on the side to decrease the storage space. Easy to use and fast cook time.

The waffle maker is easy to use and makes perfect waffles. The browning setting helps you get the right texture. I made them extra crispy for chicken%26waffle sandwiches and a little less when serving for breakfast. Flip feature helps the waffle cook evenly.

Overall, it works very well. However, it needs some audible "beep" or something when the waffle is ready. The "ready " light does not seem to be associated with the baking cycle.

makes great Belgium waffles. non stick catch tray for batter. you can only fill sections you want if you don't want full waffle

I thought the waffle iron would be heavier and make better waffles. I just have to get a better iron.

This waffle maker does not heat well, so the waffles come out flimsy and not crisp even when the dial is turned all the way up. It is being returned.

I have owned several Chefman product over the years and all great, but this Wafflemaker is Horrible, no matter what you do you get nothing but gummy waffles, even if you leave them inside long enough to burn the outside the inside is Gummy, thick batter, normal, thin, does not matter, this Wafflemaker is designed wrong. Going back to my old Chefman, back when they made quality.
