I love this fryer. The way it is made the bottom under the element does not get too hot so your oil does not burn during frying. I fried almost 10 pounds of breaded pork and breaded chicken and some fries and hush puppies and the grease was still clean.

You do have to be careful with the handles of the baskets make sure they are on there correctly! Other than that this was a great addition to our kitchen.

We have used this once, but cooked a lot of fish, hush puppies, and fries! It held the temperature well, no over heating. So far, a great value for the money!

Everything was good, except the item was completely disassembled inside the box

The assembly of the deep fryer was simple besides assembling the handles on the baskets….The handles don't stay locked into place for none of the baskets…. I had bad experience while I was using the deep fryer the handles pop out of place when I was attempting to take the out fish out deep fryer…. If they could fix the handles and make them more secure this would be a nice deep fryer…. If you decide to purchase be careful with the handles on the baskets!!!!

Struggles to get up to temp if it makes it at all. I used a couple different commercial oil thermometers and it never even got to 350 degrees. even after hrs of being left set at max temp. then as soon as ya drop wings in it drops 75-100 degrees and takes 10 minutes or more to kind of recover.

Overall the item looks great, but having issues with the thermostat, I have to work (continuously turn on %26 off) with it a lot; to get the green light to come on and heat up the oil. Once it comes on, it heats well and cooks amazingly. Not sure how to contact vender to get a new one that works correctly. I can hear the clicking of the thermostat when I turn the knob but doesn't heat up.

Piece of junk wouldn't turn on. Came home from work, excited to use it, only to discover that out of ALL kinds of outlet plug-ins, whatever the heck they're called, they go with a freaking magnet that's very brittle. You plug it in a few times and it just doesn't work. They mention that you shouldn't force the plug in and that you shouldn't turn it on without oil, but the print where it says that is SO SMALL. You have to be looking for it. I feel like they set me up for failure and robbed me. Wasted half a bottle of oil only to find out it's broken. I can't even use the darn thing because they weren't transparent. Would not recommend.

I used this once and it worked great went to use it again and now it will not turn on to heat up I feel upset that I use this once now it's not working. I wasted my money on something that is not worth the price. no one should buy this AT ALL !!!

Warning...this will trip and break your circuit breakers. Seems very flimsy and not UL or safety rated? Worked great one time then started tripping breakers and now one needs to be replaced!!! Get a name brand safety rated unit, spend more $ if needed. Do NOT trust this unit...
