convenient. If the ice melts it recycles the water and tells you whe to add water. Its really cool. i like it. 10 minute ice. too small for a party though. its good for 2 people. That why I got the small one. i use it in my Insulated bottle and last for hours so I'm happy. Buy larger ones for a family.

Caught this on a good discount. My fridge ice maker quit working so I'm using this instead of paying an exorbitant repair fee. Just dump the ice into the ice bin in the freezer. Works exactly as described. Very quiet,.It does put out a little heat when operating. I located mine in the laundry room so I don't add more heat to the kitchen. Just saw an ad for Igloo's model and it looks identical to this unit, same price but no discount. I'm not an ice-cruncher, but my dogs love the bullet shaped cubes! I'm very pleased all around.

Definitely worth the money around $40. Just arived and already it is making ice for us! it is quick and so so quiet! Forget the refrigerators with the fancy ice makers cause they always have or cause an issue. if you know, you know. This is Problem Solved! Totally Awesome!!!

First, ordering from Walmart online was very easy, price was great, shipping was free and timely, a good experience. The icemaker itself was exactly as described online. I set it upright for a day to let the fluids settle. Ran the cleaning cycle a few times, very easy just press the button, then emptied, refilled the water chamber, and every 7-8 minutes a new batch of ice bullets were made. I added another cup of water every third batch or so, I ran it for a little over an hour to completely fill my ice container in my refrigerator, moving the new ice over every now and then. It was quiet except when the ice dropped into the basket, and that sound was satisfying because it showed all was working as expected. So far so good, I'm happy with the purchase.

this icemaker does produce ice. It's enough ice for about 2 cups, maybe three. However, when producing ice is, it is very noisy when the water is running low. It's very noisy. The noise level is out of one through five. It's about a three or four. It sounds like a machine needing some oil. This is the best description I can give. I was going to cheap route and should have went with Frigidaire Christmas sale.

If you think that you can use the machine as soon you buy it… not! First wait at least 24 hours to turn it on! You need to wash your machine good with their product solution.. the first batch of ice is trash! Something that I don't like about it is the ice melted fast and you can't keep it in the machine also because.. yup it will melt faster.

It makes ice in 2 sizes - small and medium. The ice is bullet-shaped and perfect for cocktails or for quickly cooling down a coffee drink. It only takes about 10 minutes to make about 6 ice cubes. But you need to remove the ice as soon as it's make, because it's not kept cold enough. I forgot once and left it on overnight, and it would make ice, then the ice would melt, then it would make it again. All night long. The ice is wet, so when you put it in your freezer, it sticks together. You need to break it apart to use it.

Within a few months this machine began shedding what appears to be the rubber lining of internal components into the ice. I thought at first when the pieces were very small that this was an issue with needing to be cleaned more often... but as larger pieces started to be frozen inside the ice, it soon became clear that it must be components breaking down internally. Waste of money - lasted less than 4 months - not to mention more than a little gross. I attached a photo of the material being frozen inside the ice.

We bought this icemaker in January for my daughter. It broke last week trying to get a new one with it being the way that they do the warranty is all through email not even over the phone. You call and they said an email not even personal person. It was working great and now even though it's full of water as the light that it is not and will not make ice, I thought it would last longer than seven months. I did buy the additional warranty which I suggest if you buy this product if anything goes wrong with it, which it definitely can. It does make small drip a little bit, but my daughter loves it and was really sad that she does not have ice right now. I hope this company will back it. I ordered this item less than a year ago, so to still underwarranty, and I have only used it a handful of times. During those times it worked fine, although a little slow, but I was satisfied for the price. however, and recently trying to use it. I receive an error message that says I need to add water. Even though there is water already in it, I of course tried basic troubleshooting to no avail. I have contacted the seller since it is under warranty to see if I can get a replacement. I will update as I know.
