Chef'sChoice Model D202 2-Stage Electric Knife Sharpener, in Orange (SHD202OR11)

This sharpener did better then I expected. As dull as my knives were didn't take much time to sharpen them.

I love it night i love this sharpener! You just plug it in a go. Super easy to use. It does a great job sharpening knives and it is done quickly. I got mine for Christmas and we have since gone back to get my mother in law one for her house too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this chef's choice diamond homes 2-stage electric knife sharpener to sharpen all my dull knives in my kitchen and it's very easy to operate to sharpen your blades and it doesn't take long to get a good Sharp knife and if I happen to need to be sharpened it again later I just pulled out my knife sharpener and use it again if any of your knives need to be we sharpened again this is a product I would highly recommend you keep in your kitchen.

I've been very happy with this sharpener. It's quick, easy to use, and leaves my knives much sharper. Definitely worth the purchase!

I've used this item to sharpen my knives that we're very dull. So far it has been excellent with the instructions on the website it helped and I highly recommend the product!

Works excellent and as described. Unfortunately my knives have a wierd handle and this was not able to sharpen the blade closest to the handle which is no fault of the sharpener so it will have to be returned.

The box had no manual or instructions. After trying to find info online, looked at box - small print says go to www.chefschoice.com for instructions. Went to website %26 could not find instructions for D202 knife sharpener. Had to send email to customer service to ask for instruction manual. Waiting for response. In meantime, I pulled knife through slots without turning on electricity/sharpener on- I don't want to risk damaging my knives without proper instructions. Anyway, knife seemed sharper even without turning machine on.

The power switch is reversed. On is off, off is on. Does not sharpen as much as I thought it would. A little better then previously, but not much. Instruction were deficient; angle to hold knife, speed by which to pull knife through, even though diamond the wheels leave a rough edge.

I tried this item right away because I needed my knife sharpened. When I drew the knife through the cutting blades, the sharpener sounded like it was going to break. I tried turning the sharpener on and off to restart and the same loud, broken sound emitted from the machine. I have repackaged the sharpener and will try another machine.

never received item 2nd time in 2 months i didn't receive purchase . at one point last year package was left at wrong address. drivers need to pay attention to address when delivering to colonial drive. not just the address number.
