CHI Electronic Clothing Iron with Retractable Cord 13102

I received this CHI Electronic Iron with Retractable Cord Model#13105 from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to try out and Review. This is the best Clothes Iron I have ever used! Its light weight but very well made. It is easy to reach the Steam and Spray buttons with your thumb. My clothes are now Ironed smooth and wrinkle free. The steam comes out evenly and lots of it. The Handle seems to be very comfortable to hold and apply pressure down. It just feels good in your hand. The retractable Cord works great. Just pull it out up to 8 feet and stays until you press the Retract button. I really like the retractable cord feature. Overall I say this Clothes Iron is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone that Irons their clothes to look nice. I really like this Clothes Iron. Thank you for reading this review.

I must say that this is by far the best iron Me and my Wife have ever owned. I Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new iron or even an upgrade. It Knocks out wrinkles faster than any other one that I had. It has a retractable cord that makes storing an absolute breeze. Just push the button and no more cord shortages, wrapping or plug tangles anymore. The size of the iron is a little bigger than my previous one so more section is covered and it also weighs a little more. This thing heats up in no time and has a very powerfull steam function. It has a very smooth motion glide while in use and a self cleaning button is something my previous iron did not have before. The water refill opening seems to be a little smaller to Me but not a huge issue. Also it has an auto shutoff motionless sensor that prevents you from burning your cloths or starting a careless fire, so if its laying flat, sideways or up right it turns off when not in use after a certain time. It also has five fabric tempeture settings for wool, silk, cotton, linen and synthetic that lights up when selected.

After reading some of the instructions I could not believe how high-tech an iron could be. If you leave it laying down it turns off after a minute (may be less but around there), same with in it's side, and if you leave it standing up, it will shut off after 30 minutes. That is SO cool to me! The iron heats up in about 2 minutes, and it will be solid once it's ready. This is going to sound weird... but my clothes have never smelled so good. There was no weird heating smell like my other iron makes... it smelled... SO GOOD! When I first saw this I thought why in the WORLD would an iron be so expensive. And then when I used it I became a believer. This iron is built to last and won't have water flying all over your clothes like my old iron did anytime you try to use it on steam... it works perfectly and I could not be happier. After I used it for the first time I told my husband I actually WANT to iron. He can probably count on two hands the number of times I've pulled out our ironing board. Most of our shirts don't need ironing. But I'm not kidding I don't even care, I want to use this bad boy all the time! And let's not forget about the retractable cord. Why don't all objects with cords come with a retractable cord! Game changer. No more waiting until my iron has cooled down enough to finally move it to its resting spot after I've wound the cord around it. Now I can put it back to its non-fire-hazard zone as soon as I'm done, keeping it away from little curious hands!

I've only used this iron for a week, but thus far it's been as advertised. The iron is heavy, which I like, and the plate is very smooth. I haven't had any problems with dripping when the iron is in steam mode.

This is a very nice iron and works really well, I had hoped I could just plug it in and start using it immediately. However, like everything else these days, I did have to read the instructions and figure out what the icons meant on the iron. Nevertheless, it is pretty good and does get very hot. I have a steamer that I use but this seemed to work as good and even better on denim.

OMG! Where do I start with this! The CHI Iron will give you real Dry-Cleaning results. The iron is easy to use, has multiple settings, and gives you plenty of different heat setting to keep your clothes nice and crisp. My favorite feature of the iron is the Burst feature. When you press down of the Burst button, a nice burst of steam comes out of the iron giving your item of clothing a nice crisp and smooth feeling. This iron is worth your coin. I use it everyday, I love it and you will too.

Once upon a time there were heavy, hot, effective irons. Then they started making cheap irons. This model restores my faith in a good home-pressed shirt and a sharply creased pant leg. When you pull this out fo the box there is no denying that the esthetic is gorgeous. Add to that that it's a substantial yet easy to handle iron which heats up quickly and does what you set it to do and this is a winner. I could not be more impressed. I love the features. I like how the water compartment is enclosed which stops spills and leaks. The retractable cord is super handy. I really really like this iron and am seriously pleased that it's not just another cheap version of a tool that is increasing made at cheaper, less useful standards.

This iron makes my work so much easier! I hate ironing but some things just have to be ironed. The feature on this iron that makes it so much easier is the spray feature. The steam feature works well but some areas just need that extra spray of moisture. The retractable cord is a great feature also. The iron is a little heavier than I expected but not to heavy to handle well. Highly recommended!

I ordered this on sale to be used as my backup, in case my Velocity quit working. I would say it's probably slightly above average, heat/steam-wise. I didn't use it for long, but while I did, it didn't leak. The problem I had is I'm left-handed, and the positioning of the cord is definitely made for a right-hander. That's the only reason I rated it low on "ease of use." I gave it to a friend, just got fed up with fighting the cord.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER!! I received a USED iron! Looked like it was used for years! Even had water calcium on the bottom base of the iron! Please save yourself and purchase from Walmart not this party seller!
