Never heard of this brand but it was highly rated on various websites. Price was more than I wanted spend but I need a very hot steam iron that doesn't leak and has a longer automatic shut off time than my previous irons. So far this iron has met my expectations and is worth the price. I've owned this Chi for less than 2 months, use it at least 4 days/week and hope it will last much longer than my last 2 irons, Rowentas that failed in under 3 yrs of use.
I was a little cautious about buying this iron because I usually buy Rowenta. It was on sale for a great price and had good reviews, so I figured I'd try it. I was not disappointed. It irons beautifully, and the steam power is great.
through the years l have purchased the iron several times the iron is excellent l feel in love with the first one l purchased a little expensive but to me its worth it
I'm a quilter I also do alterations and some sewing of garments I like a lot of steam and I like the iron to be hot as appropriate for the Garment. this thing has a really long cord that heats up quick gets good and hot and puts out a ton of steam. I'm very happy with it I used the German one for many years and the last one I got was from Germany and it leaked like an sob after about a year. so that one went to the thrift store. these are great irons I never had one with the lava plate and is just because I wanted to try it. I really like the sharp point when you're doing collars or small seams on a quilt.
I LOVE this iron. It heats up quickly and has a fantastic selection of settings. I like that I can turn steam on or off and adjust the level of steam that I want. It does a remarkable job of getting wrinkles out. It is also relatively lightweight and I like that the handle is grippy
Such an amazing iron! I use this every morning to iron my shirt, and it is so much easier to use than any other iron I've tried. And it also looks great and feels comfortable while holding it. Very clever of CHI to use their flat iron technology in this clothes iron.
It is great with heat and steam. What I found difficult was every time I would end up turning it off because of the way I would turn it off by accident because the dial is so close to the handle. I had to turn it back on twice. It is really good for the temperature and steam or spaying the garments.
This clothing iron looks very sleek and has a ver modern design, although i am not super impressed by it. I have an iron that i paid 1/3 of the price for that works just as well as this one. I like the quick shot steam button, that helps with stubborn areas but overall its just an average iron. The cord is very long, which can be a good thing but also can get in the way, i wish it had a retractable cord. As far as performance it took about 1 minute to fully heat up and i had to go over areas several times to remove wrinkles.
Your delivery people cannot read. Three of my recent orders were delivered to another address even though my correct address was available. If it happens again, I will notify the police
This iron got hot enough, but the sole plate created such drag and did not smoothly glide over the fabric. Also the titanium-infused sole plate started wearing off after just 6 weeks. I did like that it didn’t auto-shut off until 30 minutes. Disappointing.
