Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray, Cherry Flavor Throat Remedy, 6 fl oz

I know this stuff doesn't taste that good but we found a new use for this product. My wife and I had a terrible cough that lasted weeks during the Christmas holidays last year and NOTHING worked. Not even prescription meds. It seemed like we had this constant tickle in our throats that we could not get rid of. We were going with little sleep due to coughing all night long and then I tried this. It's numbing effect kicked in almost immediately and we didn't need to use very much. Just a spray or two. Worked great! I know that's not what it is supposed to be used for and we do use it for sore throats but it was a lifesaver for us with that cough. It would last about 4 hours and then we would need it again but it really helped.

Also a go to for me. School kids always seem to catch everything going around, so I keep this on hand for me. When my throat starts feeling scratchy I take this right off. DO NOT Swallow. Spray in the throat, let it set for 10-15 seconds and spit it out. Starts feeling better right away. If your throat continues to get scratchy for several days probably need to see a doctor.

I have used throat sprays for many years. I like Chloraseptic the best. It works well to take the soreness away and tastes much better. A few pumps is all it takes and works for quite awhile. Easy pump sprayer and doesn’t clog. I definitely recommend.

Chloraseptic is a life saver . I have 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. My husband and I noticed that when any of them visited us, we would come down with a cold. I would use Chloraseptic to treat the sore throat. Then I realized if we sprayed our throats after the kids visited, we wouldn’t get a cold. It really works !

This sore throat spray is a premium in my medicine cabinet. The Cherry flavor is soothing and the spray bottle is easy to use for a sore throat. It gives relief in a matter of seconds, on contact. I’ve been using this brand for years and I have never had to second guess it!!

Well, mainly trying to use it for my irritated throat. But it is scratchy as well, and it got a little sore, so I know that this throat spray does help a lot when it comes to be relieving my sore throat cause it's been sore for a few days.

I was EXTREMELY sick with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. A couple sprays of this does work and numbs the pain a bit, but the pain does come back after a few hours, so I would recommend a two sprays every 4 hours. DO NOT SWALLOW IT It does have a nice flavour though.

Didn't seem like the Chloraseptic from times past. I was surprised by the fact that you are not supposed to swallow this, keep it in mouth for 15 seconds and spit it out. Tough with a sore throat

My sore throat started at the upper back of my throat, specifically the soft tissue beyond the uvula (soft palate). It was difficult to spray that area effectively without opening my airway passage. Spraying it on my finger and rubbing the sore area worked best. I realize that all our anatomies are different, so this may be only mine. This product works very well if you can apply enough.

It has phenol in it so it smells like formaldehyde. I can only get it to coat the upper back part of my throat. My puke coated my throat better. The product only lasts a couple minutes but it says not to use it more than once every two hours.
