Wonder Steamer! I steamed 11 small red potatoes and 4 corn on the cob which took 18 minutes with filled with distilled water at around a 3/4 level. They were perfect and it did not mess up my already crowded counter with any escaped steam. There was left over water in the steamer. I love the lightness of the machine which is a plus to my arthritic hands, while at the same time seeming to endure lots of steaming times. And the price is very affordable to be able to put together simple, healthy meals pretty easy and fast.

I have been using vegetable steamers for many years, and overall this one is easy to use and works well. My one concern is that the plastic lid does not fit the basket as securely or tight as I would like, so some steam and water escapes along the sides. You have to be very careful when lifting the lid and moving the basket to serve the vegetables.

I'm loving this steamer! Install learning recepies for different foods. this steamer is an oval shape, which works well for different foods. I've cooked chicken,fish, pork, potatos, beans, sqash, rice,and even eggs. Yes, you can cook eggs, sausage, and potatoes, at the same time without any oil. it's super easy to set up. So the ease of use is instant. it's cleaned up easily cleaned up afterwards. The price was very affordable. So I can't think of anything bad about it.

Easy to use and easy to set up. I was able to pick it up by the handles after my broccoli was done and I did not get burned. Stronger than my last one because I cooked the food for the same time, but the broccoli was a bit mushy. It'll do great on harder items like carrots or cauliflower. Steam tray washed up pretty easy as well.

This electric steamer is quite versatile. We use it for making hard boiled and poached eggs, potato salad, rice, cous cous, shrimp, salmon. Since there are two baskets, several foods like potatoes and corn can be made at the same time instead of sequentially. And foods that cook for different time lengths can be staggered by adding the second basket later. And there is no need to use cooking oil.

What I received is not the steamer I ordered. Kitchen space is limited, A small round steamer is what I ordered; What was shipped was a large oval steamer. This is the second item recently purchased on line that was totally different from what I ordered. I purchased 100 percent cotton sweat suit and received a 95 percent polyester suit. I am starting to see a pattern.
