I thought I was getting a 6 cup rice cooker. it's a three cup and it's identical to the 3 cup RC I returned because I wanted a 6 cup. I don't understand the 5 dollar difference and the description?? works awesome though (like most B%26D products) and delivered super fast. I added a 12 ounce soda in the picture for scale
Got mine for $20. That is a steal, it's small, but more than enough rice can be made to feed my 3 adults and 1 child family. Also if it's not enough, it's just 10 to 15 mins to make more, and one of the features is to AUTOMATICALLY keep rice warm after cooking.
The Black %26 Decker rice cooker is great for making rice and also for storing it in the refrigerator in the same container that is cooked in the rice stays moist and good for several days. I would recommend it highly to anyone who loves rights the Black %26 Decker rice cooker is great for making rice and also for storing it in the refrigerator in the same container that is cooked in the rice stays moist and good for several days. I would recommend it highly to anyone who loves rice.
use the same amount of water to rice ratio works best for me - I cook all kinds of things (ramen, soups, frozen veggies, frozen soups, oatmeal, etc. and of course rice) in this rice cooker and use it every day - love it
The Black %26 Decker Rice Cooker is sleek and sturdy. Well made, yet light weight, my new rice cooker performed great making my first ever batch of Sushi rice .🍣 Definitely worth the price.
at 1st I was disappointed my 6 cup rice cooker will only hold 4.5 cups; but i loaded it up and it cooked rice perfectly. it has a lot of potential as a warmer for children or senior adults just to heat food. but being a southern girl from Alabama my 2nd test was grits and it did the job, you have to check on them %26 switch to warm; but my grits were perfect. Don't underestimate the versatility of this appliance.
I was expecting a larger rice cooker. I may have to purchase a larger one eventually. I can steam healthy vegetables. I've not tried to cook rice in the cooker yet.
i have used this cooker over and over. I have followed the directions and not followed the directions. I cannot get it to work properly. The water over flows. I just can not get it to work correctly. We just eat the rice no matter what it comes out like. I am sorry I bought this machine.
I was able to cook one pot of rice before it completely died. While cooking a second pot, it smelt as if plastic was burning and it was coming from this cooker. I immediately unplugged and plugged into a different outlet but the machine was done, it died.
Did not even last 3 months, it is peeling off from the bottom. I contacted the seller, but did not get any replies.
