LANNEY Steamer Basket Stainless Steel Vegetable Insert for Food Cooking, Fit Pots (5.1" to 9")

I really liked the idea of a handle that will not burn me when I pull it up from steaming. However, the handle fit to the metal steamer is a little wobbly and that made assembly a little bit strange, but the manufacturer included a small Phillips head screwdriver for assembly. So the handle has more positives than negatives for me. I also like the non-scratching legs on the steamer base that fold up if needed. Finally, I liked that it is listed as Dishwasher safe and can fit at 5.1" diameter one of my smallest copper bottom pots. All in all, very happy with the product and its price and flexibility of use.

I make hard boiled eggs often, but in small batches and I hate when they touch the bottom and have a little scorched mark. This would also be great for steaming broccoli or any other foods you want to steam. We always had one when I was a kid, for some reason I'm finally buying one. I'm glad I did. So far it's sturdy, safe to use on my ceramic pots and pans and I like the comfort grip of the handle. It was easy to clean, and I boiled a batch of eggs just yesterday and they came out perfect!

Super fast shipping. Smaller than my old steamer and fits all the smaller pots. Stainless steel. No instrictions came with it so unclear if the green screw on handle is dishwasher safe.

Great for steaming anything you like. I used it the first day to steam some green beans. I like that it is adjustable to fit different pots. This will be one of my favorite kitchen items.

Good quality product. Having the handle makes it so much easier to handle the basket. It came with a screwdriver to use when attaching the handle to the basket

Haven't used yet, but very basic and easy to use. Also easy to clean. And enjoying steamed vegetables is much better for you than other methods. Highly recommend

I did have to return it as it didn't fit my pot. However, it is very well made. The fins/flaps are tight to each other and don't go limp and flop out. The handle is nice as it extends for ease of use. And it folds up to pretty small for its size.

I really like the steamer. I love steamed squash and zucchini and this is just what I needed. I'm old and don't know how long I will need this but it's exactly what I wanted. Well, I will use it for a lot of things.

The handle is a pain to remove, sticks up higher than other steamers. I would not recommend this product at all. I threw out the handle after I u screwed it.

After many months of trying to use this vegetable steamer with a plastic handle and silicone feet, hoping that it would eventually stop making the food taste like plastic, I wrote to request a refund or replacement at the email address provided, and the email came back undeliverable - until I guessed a different spelling: with salesservice, and no response within 3 days so far . It still makes the food taste like plastic no matter how long I keep trying to use it.
