Cuts heavy stuff up to wire with ease. I have gotten at least a dozen pair, have a pair in the car, every tool box, bedside and kitchen and office drawers and have given a pair to every friend. They can cost a lot but I have ordered via Wallmart for about 6 to 8 $ and picked up at the store at no delivery cost. They are a good buy.

This is likely the best snip/cutting device I've owned and used. I am unable to find any design or manufacturing deficiency with this unit. It is excellent for cutting those thick blister packages from products that are so overwrought. This tool is so good and so versatile that I bought several of them so that I will have one at hand all around the house.

These snips are great. Sometimes scissors just don't cut it (pun intended). Great for opening clam shell packages and plastic wire ties. I've used them to cut thin aluminum with precision. I got two of these because I constantly use them and it is convenient to have one in my office and one with my tools.

These sheers are excellent. Will cut through almost anything within reason. Be careful, really sharp. Keep away from small children.

I sampled this product a few months ago and it has been a great addition to my tackle box. I have owned an model 18390 for 8 years or so. They still cut amazingly well and the spring action makes easier to use. They stay in the kitchen utility drawer, ready for action! My only complaint is the clip on the back which holds them closed broke, only lasted a few years with light use. I will order another pair, but I will Not be tossing the old one; the old pair will go in the garage with other tools.
