CLEANING KIT .30-32 CAL 8MM CLAM (10)

Hoppe's always deliver quality products in their cleaning kits. They've been around forever and are one of the most popular and known brands in the market. I also like how it can be stored upright, less chance of leakage. Plus, the price for this kit was just too good to pass up.

First before my situation

For the money it is a very nice product. Metal rods not my favorite, but have used them for years with no negative effect. ( including 1968 ruger 10/22 bought new)

Good enough to jab out a stuck case or to do some light cleaning.......dont like the way the handle doesnt affix itself to one position......it will see some use

Bought this for my 1964 Marlin .22 levrr action rifle. The brush was too big for my borr. The ramrod buckled whennI tried to clean the barrel. I managed to get the barrel done, no thanks to Hoppes.

I recommend the purchase of a higher quality brush and cleaning rod. The tolerances of the brush in this kit did not match the advertised caliber size on the packaging.

No problem with Walmart. The items were received in a factory sealed package containing unfinished aluminum rods. None of the rods were tapped to receive the other rods or implements, only unthreaded holes in each end.

Absolute junk! Forget about ever storing it back in the original packaging again because as soon as you attach an aluminum rod to the handle it's permanent it will never come off!!
