It was very easy to use and reasonably priced BUT it was not as glossy as expected. I would recommend it for the weather resistance BUT wouldn't recommend if you want a high gloss. I am more hoping that it will protect a hand painted flower pot from the elements.

Great ease of application, takes a while to cure, very obnoxious odor, highly recommend outdoors work (worked in garage, smell entered home and stayed 3 days).

Was not glossy, at all. More like a sparkly matte finish. Not what I had expected from a 'clear gloss'. Has a single, narrow spray pattern, difficult to get an even coverage. Do not recommend.

Used it over enamel and it ruined my paint. I had to strip everything and start over without the clear coat. Do not use over enamel!

Rust-Oleum acrylic white gloss 2x primer/paint matched color well and coverage was good.When I applied the clear lacquer it reacted with white coat and created an “alligator” finish which required me to sand the entire hood and roof of truck! The clear lacquer must have been oil based and reacted with the acrylic first coat.Now I can't find the gloss white color in the acrylic and is not available at any Walmart anywhere remotely close to me so am ordering from Zoro.Walmart only has the universal white which may not match.
