Looks great!!
Recently tried the VERATHANE varnish and I am thoroughly impressed. Goes on smoothly and dries to a high gloss. Dries quickly and it's best to ventilate the room while using.

Dries fast
Exactly as described. I was using for Christmas crafts. Easy to use. Dried quickly and smoothly. I also used indoors because of winter weather and it wasn't excessively fumey.

This polyurethane was effective in preventing more blackish color on the dowels of the drying rack. It did leave the surface less smooth.

Bubbles and brush marks
I want to like this polyurethane but it leaves bubbles and brush strokes behind. It's hard to get it to spread evenly when working with unfinished wood. I was able to get it to do what I needed to do by thinning it with mineral spirits however, other products have used. I haven't had to do that. I want to like it but it doesn't give than glossy finish I want.

The product was easy to apply, but it clearly states on the can non- yellowing. The entire thing turned yellow. What a mess. I feel cheated. They had to know it yellowed, it says clear non-yellowing. They lied, it is heart rendering when you trust in a product only to discover you have been deceived.
