Looks great!!
Recently tried the VERATHANE varnish and I am thoroughly impressed. Goes on smoothly and dries to a high gloss. Dries quickly and it's best to ventilate the room while using.

Great Protection for Outdoor Wood.
I used this clear oil-based polyurethane to protect the wood on my outdoor cart, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. It brought out the natural look of the wood and gave it a nice protective finish without covering up the wood grain. It went on well and made the cart look refreshed. I would definitely use it again for other wood projects.

This polyurethane was effective in preventing more blackish color on the dowels of the drying rack. It did leave the surface less smooth.

Bubbles and brush marks
I want to like this polyurethane but it leaves bubbles and brush strokes behind. It's hard to get it to spread evenly when working with unfinished wood. I was able to get it to do what I needed to do by thinning it with mineral spirits however, other products have used. I haven't had to do that. I want to like it but it doesn't give than glossy finish I want.

The product was easy to apply, but it clearly states on the can non- yellowing. The entire thing turned yellow. What a mess. I feel cheated. They had to know it yellowed, it says clear non-yellowing. They lied, it is heart rendering when you trust in a product only to discover you have been deceived.
