Clear, Varathane Ultimate Oil-Based Interior Polyurethane, Semi-Gloss-6041H, Quart

I recently used this product for the first time on some pine trim boards. I used a synthetic brush and let dry for 24 hours and then buffed and polished with an 800 grit sanding sponge. I have bought another can since I am happy with the first cans results.

Have used it twice for 2 different projects. Takes a day or 2 to cure, but it dries clean and one coat is effective enough, although you can use multiple if you desire a cleaner more professional looking finish. Pairs best with a Varathane stain

This stuff is awesome. It doesn't have a strong smell which is nice. Goes on clear and smoothes itself out. One thing I found out is, to not make very thick coats. It tends to do a ripple, wavy affect when it dries. When dried it has a very nice shine to. I will definitely be buying this brand again in the future.

It looks nice on my new pub style table. The application went well and it seems like it will hold up and protect the table. It's all good so far.

I have used every kind of polyurethane there is and have never had the problems I had with this one. You are unable to keep a wet edge because it skins over in seconds. So you just wind up with a blotchy mess of huge brush marks.

Product arrived spilled all over inside the box. It was wrapped in a knotted plastic bag but paint had still leaked into the box. It was such a mess when I opened it and the label was so saturated I couldn't even tell if it was what I actually ordered. Maybe some tape over the lid before you ship it???
