Clear, Varathane Ultimate Oil-Based Interior Polyurethane, Semi-Gloss-6041H, Quart

I recently used this product for the first time on some pine trim boards. I used a synthetic brush and let dry for 24 hours and then buffed and polished with an 800 grit sanding sponge. I have bought another can since I am happy with the first cans results.

This stuff is awesome. It doesn't have a strong smell which is nice. Goes on clear and smoothes itself out. One thing I found out is, to not make very thick coats. It tends to do a ripple, wavy affect when it dries. When dried it has a very nice shine to. I will definitely be buying this brand again in the future.

I've used this in the past. It applies nicely and leaves a beautiful coat. You need at least two coats for a great finish

it's not as thick as I was hoping for it's actually goes on very thin and you have to do several layers but I would still recommend

The finish when dried is pretty durable but dried too fast during application causing brush strokes

I have used every kind of polyurethane there is and have never had the problems I had with this one. You are unable to keep a wet edge because it skins over in seconds. So you just wind up with a blotchy mess of huge brush marks.

Product arrived spilled all over inside the box. It was wrapped in a knotted plastic bag but paint had still leaked into the box. It was such a mess when I opened it and the label was so saturated I couldn't even tell if it was what I actually ordered. Maybe some tape over the lid before you ship it???
