Clear, Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane Oil-Based Semi-Gloss Spray-6081, 11.25 oz

Used over gel stain and was able to get a smooth finish. I tried other polys but they left roller or brush marks. It took 2 cans to finish a 2x8' wood countertop.

As a retired professional in painting and staining items made out of wood, my personal all time favorite brand is Zar. It is Hands down the best! However, it is quite pricey. I wasn't aware Varathane was made by Rustoleum. It has also been a trusted brand of mine for many years and doesn't break the bank. All in all, a customer well pleased.

I use Varathane Semi-Gloss on wooden items I turn on a lathe. For me it's easier and results are better than anything I've tried. Smaller things seem harder to get a good finish on. The semi-gloss gives the wood a warm smooth look.

I was hoping to use this on a larger project to save time. The product works just fine but I quickly realized i would need many more cans than I was willing to spend the $$ on so I had to resort to brush on after all. It would be wonderful for smaller projects for sure. No complaints!

This product was left at the outside door of the apartment building, NOT at my apartment door. So I never received the product, and I want either a replacement or a refund! Reaching Customer Service has been Very difficult, and I want my orders left AT MY DOOR.
