Clear, Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane, Satin-200241H, Quart

Always like Varathane products. Applied with a good brush, this polyurethane gives you a nice smooth finish. I'll often roll on with a 4 in mohair roller and then brush it out. I'll typically apply 2-3 coats, depending, sanding lightly between coats. Milky in the can, it dries crystal clear.

Really good for sealing paint on ceramic tile. Be sure to ventilate well and clean very well before applications. Beware of tendency to yellow if contamination is present such as mold, mildew, or rust staining. Such contaminates will cause yellowing of this applied sealer. Clean all contaminants from all surfaces before painting and sealing!

Could not find this product anywhere. Found it here,ordered it and it arrived ahead of schedule.Product works excellent also.

My hobby is finding solid wood furniture ( often in the trash) and restoring it or repurposing it. I use Varathane clear polyurethane because it doesn't yellow or change the color. I recommend it for long lasting finish.

Would not use for table top, unless doing many coats possibly. For other less trafficked areas, works well.

The product is as advertised. Great quality and fast delivery, great price, and free delivery until Walmart decided to charge me an additional forty something dollars for something they call "Location Subcharge". It was cheaper if i bought it in my local hardware store.

As another reviewer stated, this did not dry clear. It went on milky white and dried milky white even tho I followed the directions on the can. I ended up having to sand it off, repaint, and applied a different clear coat found on Amazon, which cost more than this quart did. Now I'm stuck with this stuff. I wouldn't recommend.

Very disappointed. I have been refinishing furniture for years but this was my first attempt with water based poly. No matter what I tried I would get elongated bubbles along the grain after the second coat. Tried everything. Redid it three times. Last time edited a full 24 hours before my second coat. No difference. So now I bar to sand back the finish for the fourth time.

I opened it and it was all chunky and like separated the chemicals inside separated or something. As everyone knows it's supposed to be painted over something sanded. I went to paint it on my sanded wood floor to coat it and I was very disappointed. I was excited to get that part of my floor completed and sadly I couldn't. I live where there isn't bus routes and etc. so that's why I did Walmart delivery and couldn't just run to store to replace it.

Waste of time, so disappointed. Milky and ruined paint job.
