CLIF BUILDERS Protein Bars Crispy Almond Salted Caramel, Reduced Sugar, Gluten Free Bars, 6 Count

I purchased several flavors of the CLIF BUILDERS Protein Bars. They all taste great, and are inexpensive, compared to the other brands. Each bar has 20 grams of protein, and under 300 calories.

This bar tastes like it should be bad for you, but it's got a lot of good stuff in it. Whenever I restock my Clif supply, these are the ones that disappear first. Very tasty!

The new flavors have less chocolate, better blend, lighter crisper. More to my liking .

high protein, healthy fats with good amount of calories, low sugar, and very delicious. I eat in on long hikes, or long drives, or have it with my morning coffee!

What I liked: 16g of protein and 4g of fiber per. Very dense and filling - good option for a temporary fix between meals. Good flavor, although it tasted more like maple syrup vs salted caramel. Organic ingredient heavy and no artificial additives - sweetened with sugar. What I would change if possible: a little higher on the calorie end due to 12g of fat, but also expected.

Of all the protein bars I've tried, this is by far the absolute WORST. I had to spit out the small bite I took!

I felt that that's spiked my blood sugar and made me hungrier than before I ate it.

I bought this expecting it to be plant based like other CLIF products. I am allergic to dairy so I've trusted CLIF's reliably plant based Builder Bars. This one is not and it was rather a nasty surprise. I know I should have checked the ingredients with a new product, but I've come to trust CLIF as they have been reliable on this front until now. I'm disappointed that CLIF broke from their norm for a bar that tastes worse anyway.
