My dermatologist recommended a sulfate-free toothpaste for recurring mouth ulcers. He also recommended using a child's toothbrush and to stop using my electronic toothbrush as they erode the gum line. They also irritate the gums if you are having ANY problem, sensitivity, bleeding, etc. They are also too strong for most people. It is your gums that need gentle stimulation for a healthy mouth and not strong brushing. It doesn't take much effort to clean your teeth. CloSYS has little to no taste while brushing and no after minty taste which I miss. I did try Toms and another brand I cannot remember and this has turned out to be non-irritating all the time, even when I have a mouth ulcer flare. I have not found CloSYS in the store yet and order it from walmart.com. I have finally gotten my spouse to give up the auto toothbrush and he has now using a waterpick which he likes much better. He does brush with a soft toothbrush now and his gums have stopped bleeding. Next I am trying to get him to switch toothpaste as Sulfate is not good for you in your mouth. I used to use Colgate Total toothpast and the Food and Drug Administration has effectively banned the antibacterial chemical triclosan from soaps. But, you can you still find it in your toothpaste. ... Colgate Total is the only toothpaste in the United States that contains triclosan. If you are using Colgate try switching to another brand. Triclosan is bacterial resistant, which causes antibiotic resistance and that is not good thing. Read about it online and what the FDA has to say about it.

I absolutely love this product, but I doI think it's a little pricey overall. I especially like the antimicrobial factor as it keepsme on top of infections developing from irritations and inflammations. I also use the mouthwash and think it 's as a geeat product. Just wish they weren't so expensive.

It does not have the strong chemicals that other toothpastes have. It is gentle on sensitive mouths and is the only toothpaste (that I've tried) that does not cause side effects.

Ive used this toothpaste for years. I am very happy that Walmart carries this product. The Walmart user interface is easy to use and the price was very competitive and the delivery was prompt.
