Cobalt Blue, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Metallic Spray Paint-7251830, 11 oz

i'm a Rust-O fan to begin with but this has become my latest favorite. it does great for adding a tint on top of other colors (does great over neon green, white, black). the only thing to be careful with is making sure if your finishes (on you different colors or layers) match matte/gloss/flat. if the finishes differ, make sure you allow each to completely dry or you can get some haze appearing between layers. this can happen when using other brands, specifically if you're using krylon and rust-o on the same project. also, if you're getting this delivered, make sure you have a valid id on delivery. otherwise, they can't leave it with you. (i mention this because altho i'm 45, very obviously so, delivery drivers have been forced to return the entire delivery order simply because i did not have a valid picture id and had no one else home to receive it.)

This is an amazing color. I got it to use myself however, my boyfriend got a hold of it and used it to paint a dirt bike, and honestly…It looks great! It actually looks like it was done professionally! One can was more than enough to paint all of the plastics on the bike.

Amazing absolutely amazing, I wanted to change my drawers handles I need 10 of them, but good quality handles are not cheap and was difficult to find the color that I wanted so I decided to spray paint my old drawer handles and they came out awesome the exact color I wanted and I saved money too! lol

Love this color. Am re-painting my old Ram 1500 and this color is an almost perfect match to the OEM color that was originally on at a MUCH more conducive price point. Beautiful coverage and color.

If you are looking for a warmer gold instead of the harsh brass, this is the color for you! I used it to bring the brass coated base of my antique lamp back to life and it was perfect!

Warm gold: looks like the color on the cap to me. Used a Rust-Oleum white primer over a red Christmas tree collar then used two coats of Warm Gold. The color is not as dark as I would like. I was looking for an antique gold but this served its purpose.

I love this color/sheen/effect and have used it quite a few times over the years on various items (refinishing furniture, patio/umbrella table and stand, mirror frame, you name it). I have sometimes even used it together with Rustoleum color shift paints for a different cool effect. It has never disappointed, I always get compliments on items I've used it on, and always like to keep it on hand in case I need to touch something up or start a new project I want to use it on (I never really have extra for long).

I bought this to cover an old, previously painted vintage floor lamp. It worked ok, but the "bronze" color came out look more brown, and it didn't have a metallic sheen like I hopeed for--it was closer to amore matte look. But I used it, and the lamp looks fine, althoughI'm debating on if I want to add a third coat. Glad I had a can of mineral spirits/paint thinner handy for cleanup, becaus this stuff covered my hands, and thinner cleaned it well.

NOT THE COLOR ON THE CAP. The paint has a nice finish and covers well, but disappointed because I wanted the color that is on the cap. This doesn't even look gold. It looks more of a champagne color. If you can't trust the color on the cap, how do you choose a color?

I got two cans from Walmart on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The first can, as I was opening it the top exploded like and spray went everywhere. The push part was broken off, so I could not use it. The second one work well, but it did not cover very well. I believe they costed $12.97 a can. I was disappointed to have one can that needed tossed and the other one did not do the job well
