I have a few issues with this laundry line, but overall I found it so useful that I bought a second to take with me while traveling so I can dry more clothes at the same time and I bought a third to give to my dad. It weighs 4 1/2 ounces and the clips on the end seem heavy. Not sure if it'd be possible to cut off the plastic clips to save some weight and use just the elastic part with a couple of carabiners instead since I usually have a few of those hanging off of my pack anyway. The elastic on the first one I bought near the clip is a little frayed. Not sure if it snagged on something or arrived defective. I didn't noticed it until about half way through the trip. Not a huge deal though, it still worked. It can sometimes be difficult to find something thin enough in the hotel room to fit inside of the plastic clips. Maybe the solution is to wrap the line around and clip to the line itself. I just wonder if that might fray it more. It also sags with the weight of the clothes but I didn't think that was a big deal. Aside from these minor issues, I love this thing. Because it's stretchy it's always the perfect length (assuming you don't stretch it too far). It's super easy to tuck the edges of your clothes between the twists so you don't need clothespins. It made my life a whole lot easier knowing that I always had an easy way to hang my laundry to dry. Especially when I was staying at hotels that had those anti-theft hangers so you can't take them out of the closet and hang something wet on one to dry in a place with a little more airflow.
This clothesline attached easily to the shower in a hotel. Whether you hang clothes over it, stick them through the separate cords of the line, or hang a hanger on it, it worked great!
This is going to be nice for air drying laundry without having to set up a bulky laundry stand.
Happy so far i have 2 hanging across the patio. cannot hang alot on one rope but do able so far.
no need for clips, easy to use, keeps wet towels, clothes, etc hung up during camping trips
Perfect length and strength
Took it to Italy. Worked great.
Unfortunately one of the black hooks was very stiff, difficult to open. The opening and the interior of the handle is not very wide. On my second use of the clothesline, while struggling to open it to get the yellow line through the opening, the black hook/handle broke. I would not buy this product again. My old clothesline which had loops and adjustable velcro ends worked much better and lasted for years. Disappointed in the product and that it wasn't easy to use and it didn't last. A better design is needed.
