Hunting blind came with plain wire type pegs that would pull out every time the wind blew. These hold well. Blind has been out through some heavy wind days with no problems.
Didn't get these for camping, I actually wanted to make my very large inflatables a bit more sturdy in this windy town. Easy to put in and very secure. No fear of Frosty blowing away now.
Got these to replace the steel rod ones that came with a tent. They won't rust and they won't slip out of the ground.
I have bought probably 20 of these to stage in multiple shelter kits. These work great, even in frozen ground. If you think you are going to just carve stakes, think again if you live anywhere really cold. I also use these as my toggles in tarp setups too.
Pretty good, but the tops bend off if your hit them too hard. I don't think the quality is any worse than the ones your can buy from rei, I'm pretty sure they're the same. They're just aluminum, so you can't pound too much. But overall they work great for most applications, just not hard packed dirt or frozen soil
Was having a hard time getting christmas inflatables to stay in place due to wind. Ordered these because they were longer. 5/6 inflatables stayed in place with these. I would buy them again for inflatables!
Great for a camping trip without the added weight. I like how they are easy to store with all of my camping stuff without having to worry about anything breaking in my camping kit.
The nylon loops on my tent bottom slip right off the tops of these, I guess they'd work ok for guylines and paracord but for staking down your tent they're useless without anything to catch the tent loops
these are not close to what I wanted
Several bent and broke first time I used them. I already owned 8 of the exact same kind purchased several years ago and they are all still fine. Guess the quality of the newer ones is just not the same. Disappointed.
