It is the perfect size and won't weigh you down as it can be kept stowed away and unnoticed unless you need to use it in the case of an emergency repair required on your tent.

This kit allowed for a fast easy inexpensive repair and contains everything necessary including needle and thread. Looks good. I can't say how long it will last since I did the repair today. It looks like it should hold indefinitely.

I do not own a tent myself, so I had to go and find someone who did. Luckily they needed a patch in one place and we sewed it up with the product received. We tested to make sure no water came through and it works out great. I would recommend just buying this product and keep it with your camping supplies so you don't have to cancel your trip.

I keep one of these kits in every tent pack. The ferrules are the answer to a broken pole! Duct it into place, or crimp it with a pliers. I have seen it used successfully at least 4 times. Saved the day!

You could probably get the parts separately but this package makes it nice and easy and convenient to throw in with your camping gear. Great for easy patches on the go and to fix up tent poles. Basic sewing skills required.

I would have rated it higher if it came in a sinch sac instead of a cardboard box

The photo and description show that it contains a 1/2 ounce tube of Seam Seal. However the product in the store, with the same 0205 item number, does not contain seam seal. Without the tube of Seam Seal, this kit is not much use.
