Excellent fix
Anyone who has had a tent pole break or shatter knows it is difficult to find replacement poles. This is the answer. I had two poles for a large tent shatter and splinter on me and wasn't about to buy a new tent. This kit helped me easily repair both poles in very little time. A word of advice...the kit comes with a wire to guide the shock cord into the pole segments. You will find it much easier to extend the cord, if it is still good....use something to hold the cord in place and then simply push the cord through the next pole segment....easy breezy! Even if you have to replace all of the cord this method is the easiest. Extend the cord as far as you can, use forceps or a clothespin or whatever you can find to hold the cord out and then easily push it through the next pole segment. I definitely recommend this kit and this method of repair.

what a joke! the cord or lead wire doesn't fit. not durable at all! waste of money!

Wrong Size
wrong size, too rigid. Should be a way to distinguish between a ridge pole and a side support.
