Coghlan's Tent Pole Repair Kit, Includes Replacement Shock Cord, Wire, Replacement Washers and Ferrules

So I got this as replacement cord for a Coleman Tent Pole. It matched. Shock Cord was in perfect length for a 6 person coleman sundome tent. The flexible Iron wire they give was helpful to pass the cord inside the poles. It was a straight forward process and took some 20-30 mins.

The product is fine but the directions….. wait there were not any. For someone who is experienced easy bit for first timers, I went to YouTube. This kit does not have a knuckle piece if that is what you need so although it works fine I needed to order the connecting piece.

Used this kit to repair a tent pole that had broken elastic. Worked like a charm! Several different supplies are included for various repair needs. It would have been nice if instructions or guidance for how to use it were included, but were able to find video/ instructions online so overall happy with the low price point for an effective product.

Kit has everything you would need to repair a broken tent pole. I have had to use duct tape and paracord in the past. I was so happy to get this, to keep on hand for any new repair that may be needed.

I needed this to replace the broken cord in a tent pole. It worked great, but it came with no instructions or explanations of how to use it, so I gave 4 stars.

The Ferrules were slightly smaller than the fiberglass poles I had, so I had to sand down the diameter of the pole 3/8 " pole. More work than I wanted to do, but perhaps I needed more detail on the item before I purchased it.

There was only enough shock cord to fix one pole. Had to find a different way to thread cord through the poles because the wire that came with it did not work. I got it done tho, and the cord itself was good, but I needed to do more than one pole.
