After reading other review recommending marking the location of the push button on the inner pole, setting the height of the pole become effortless. I put two marks on the inner pole with a permanent marker, one for the longest length & the other for the shortest pole length. It is a very good product.
I haven't used them yet, but they are very well made and appear to be strong and easy to use! They were well packaged and arrived in great condition.
So many uses! All you have to do is separate the two piece rod, carefully pound the bottom half into the ground several inches, replace the top half and adjust height. I'm using as a stabilizing post for Reed fence between the actual fence posts. I'm also holding my rope lights up (fastening with cable ties) around pool and gazebo.
Tall tent pole for center stability. Worked great for my tent after modifying the size. It was originally way to tall at first button. But I beat it into submission. Lol works great now
These poles are exactly what I was looking for, at a reasonable price. But the listing has far too little detail. The photo can give the impression that two poles are included when only one actually is. The photo is also pretty horrible, not showing the button mechanism or the ends, which is pertinent to someone shopping for these. The details under specifications don't clear these issues up either. So good product, good price Walmart. Poor execution.
when you look at the image you see two poles and think your getting a pair of them but its only for one . had to order a second one after i received my order and did not receive the second pole in time for my trip
After reading other reviews I got exactly what I expected. The poles will not stand the test of time but they were under $9. They will work perfect for what I need.
Very economic item; serves its purpose for half the price of tent poles at specialty outdoor stores.
This is a deceptive picture of the Pole it looks like there is 2 poles but in fact it is only 1 Pole. Very Disappointed.
Both poles were missing the push buttons so they were useless and were returned. Very disappointed
