they do work great but the packaging was smaller than I expected I was expecting it to be like kitchen matches size. but the product itself is good

too hard to light.
too hard to light. I struck the first one so much that it removed some of the strike paper. so I counted the second. I struck one over 300 times and nothing. I ended up turning on my stove and holding one to the element. did not light immediately.

The fact that they are labeled as containing chemicals that may cause birth defects in California scares me away. Otherwise they work fine
