super easy
We needed some grommets to make garden flags into banners that hang from both top corners. These are perfect for that and probably a lot of other things! Amazingly low price too, and no special tools. We did find that a plastic camping mallet (the kind used for tent pegs) worked best for tapping the grommets together.

Good for unreinforced shower curtain holes
These were great to use as reinforcements for my shower curtain holes. All I had to do was line up the two segments of the grommet on either side of the curtain and then use a rubber mallet to "snap" them together.
