Coleman 10" Tent Stakes

These stakes went into the ground with very little effort and held my tent perfectly! I would highly recommend these for camping in all kinds of soil/gravel.

I was looking online to replace the stakes my canopy came with as the first time I went to use them on hard ground, they bent. Having found these I was a bit skeptical due to such a low price point. I was pleasantly surprised. They are solid metal that can handle the hard ground. You just need a small hammer or mallet. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

These definitely live up to the Coleman name. VERY strong and dependable. I use them to stake Christmas ornaments and the soil where I live is quite rocky. Normal stakes bend or break but not these. You can pound them right in as they will break up the rocks or push them aside. I only buy these kind of stakes for this yearly project.

I had a few left from a purchase some years ago, and was delighted to find them again at Walmart. I ordered four times as many as I thought I'd need, and have already used 50% of the order. They are solid, strong, and well made. I use them to anchor my pop-up tent at agility trials, and to anchor the cover of my pool during the months the pool is closed -- it being very important that neither tent nor cover blow away!

Using this type of stakes is almost always better than the ones that come with tents (usually plastic). The only weakness is the plastic piece at the top. They can break if you are careless when pulling them. Even without the plastic piece, they are still a very solid tent stake.

Just what I need to go with my 10×10 tarp. I will be using them on a section hike on the Appalachian Trail.

These stakes are perfect for all types of camping - woods or beach! Get enough to replace the small regular stakes that come with the tent and you will be MUCH happier with your tent or screen tent!

I actually don't use these for a tent, I use them for my lawn furniture! Drilled a small hole in the feet of my Adirondack chairs and hammered these through. We get wicked storms in the Midwest and the wind isn't vicious, these kept my chairs in my yard and not in the neighbors attic window.

I wanted something that would hold up better in different ground. Steel is always better than plastic. These are definitely long enough and strong enough to hold down a tent, awning, or anything that needs anchored. The only problem I have found with these is that when using a mallet, hit it straight on top or you may break off the plastic part that you tie to.
