Coleman 25 F Mummy Sleeping Bag

We got this for my daughter. It's plenty big for her; she's 10. Hoping she will get years of service out of it. I can see that, although it's called "Big and Tall," the width could be an issue for a big and tall person. It's fine for people with regular builds; not sure about the big and tall. It seems to be well-made.

Its great looking. Love that heads can be fully covered and that it has a square foot end to move feet around better. I purchased this for our Police Dept Homeless Outreach where they will give each homeless person their own sleeping bag so those features and temp range were important in my selection as well as the cost

Obsessed with all things camping and this brand really screams it. It is amazing, durable, amazing material that seems to last forever. Easy to pack up, full zipper, can sit around a campfire and somehow the smell doesn't stick.

I was impressed with this sleeping bag. It kept me warm during a cold night, has plenty of room for taller people, and feels comfortable. The insulation works well, the pocket is convenient for small items, and it packs away easily. Great choice for camping trips.

I haven't used it yet but I'm going on a winter camping trip so that will be the real test. It's also light weight and easy to carry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is a mummy bag. What that means is it tapers down by your feet. This design is meant for maximum body heat retention. It is more snug than a typical straight sleeping bag. I am 5'7" 220lbs and I fit comfortably in it. It is snug as I would expect. The zero degree means that it is meant to keep you alive down to zero degrees. Not comfortable. Wear extra layers when sleeping in cold weather. The zipper is handy, as it has an inside and outside clasp to zip up. It also unzips in both directions so if you are too hot, you can open the bottom to cool it off. Mummy style bags have a section of the bag that covers your head. It has heat shields around the neck area to keep heat in the bag. The zipper has a heat shield too. It keeps body heat in the bag so it does not go through the zipper. The material is very smooth and comfortable. Makes for shifting / tossing, easier. The bag is a little heavy for backpacking, but is doable. It has been summer and warm, but I used it in some cooler temps and I was very comfortable.
