Lantern
Saw how well this lantern lit up the room at a neighbor's house during an outage and we immediately ordered one for ourselves. It is VERY bright and is more of your typical LED bright light but it does allow for a fully lighted area. I would recommend it.

Light is great, Batteries 4D size is great, Brightness is on Low and High levels are great. Tent is great.

Still have an old school computer
This lamp has been great. was received 5 years ago as a Christmas gift. And it worked perfectly every time. Checked the lamp out before going on a trip several days ago, the lamp failed. The battery pack lid hinge was broken; batteries were still good. Where can I acquire battery case for it? This lantern has been excellent item, don't have to fuel it with gas, just change the batteries.

Looks like a great lantern but not so
Unfortunately same issue for me as others I see. I wonder if I can get a replacement LED if that will solve the problem. First time I used in a hurricane - worked well. Next hurricane didn't light. Not sure if connectivity issue or bad LED - brand new batteries and it won't turn on. Lifetime warranty was the selling point so I hope you honor it.

Wiring, switch, board, or LED Problems
I have one of these, and it's great, when it decides to work. I believe the date stamp says 0516 (May 2016), so out of warranty, but it should last forever, especially given how little it's been used. There's problem somewhere in the wiring, board, switch, or LEDs themselves. Maybe a solder issue, I don't know. It randomly works, but not enough to trust it for camping or an emergency.

Battery Lantern Model 5329
Had battery lantern and NEW batteries just in case.In N. California PG&E shut down all electricity. Power went out, No problem says I breaking out new lantern. Put in TESTED new batteries, Lamp did NOT work!! (Bulb also test good. Conclusion bad Switch.
