Coleman Carlsbad 8-Person Dark Room Dome Tent

the tent was so simple to set up, the instructions are build into the bag so no soggy papers, and i love that the bag extends for easy storage. the tent itself is super roomy and the porch is an absolutely wonderful feature, worth every cent!

I recently purchased the Coleman tent for our family camping trip, and I couldn't be happier! It was incredibly easy to set up, even for someone like me who isn't a camping pro. The instructions were clear, and it only took about 10–15 minutes from start to finish. Once it was up, we were impressed by how spacious it is inside — plenty of room for our air mattresses and gear, and we could still move around comfortably. It held up great during a windy night and stayed completely dry during a short rain shower. The ventilation is excellent, which made a big difference in keeping it cool and comfortable. I love how well-designed this tent is — from the sturdy zippers to the smart storage pockets inside. It truly made our camping experience more enjoyable, and we can't wait to use it again this summer. Thank you, Coleman and Walmart, for offering such a great product at a fair price. Was not completely a blackout. But it was good! Went up very quickly and take down was quick as well!

It is what we were looking for, for a better price than we expected. We haven't set it up yet though, so I can't speak to the actual quality. But based on my research it was the best quality for the price.

Setting up is easy. Like 10-15 minutes. The best thing about this tent is it is really waterproof. We had thunderstorm for the whole night, real heavy rain. Not even a drop inside the tent. Highly recommended

The set up is great, it's a breeze compared to other tents I've set up in the past. In less than 30 minutes you could have it assembled and taken apart with two people. It's spacious. The dark room technology is a plus, it's not 100% dark in the mornings, but it helps tremendously. My only complaint is a zipper was broken, at the front screen, when we first assembled it %26 as we were leaving for a camping trip the following day there was no time to return it. So the window is half open the whole time now which is unfortunate.

was not as dark as I expected, I ended up returning because the black out coating was coming off the first time I put it up, also some odd design choices, the porch area was screened in and had a floor but didn't protect from the rain, it just collected water and made a mess.

It's a decent tent for the money. It lacks 3 necessary guy line tie offs that would make it more stable during windy days and the rain fly is not seam sealed so it will leak. I will be adding the extra guy line tie offs and seam tape sealing the rain fly myself. So if you want water proof, expect to spend a little extra so you can get the seam sealer yourself. For the money, not a bad tent, but don't expect it to compare to the more expensive tents. The inner zipper requires you to lean over to unzip, which can be difficult for someone short like myself, unless you leave the zippers at the bottom.

Had to put up w 2 ppl even. Instructions are horrible. Watched YouTube video. THEN realized the rainfly was cut and a pole broken!

It was not a real blackout tent like advertised the light came in on the lower half on the tent. Where i am laying down on. And the light was beaming inside.
