Coleman Montauk Big and Tall Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad, Blue Nights

The pad will self inflate, but the instuctions that come with the pad are wrong. To self inflate, you must open the inner, one-way flow valve. Opening just the outer cap will not do it. After letting it self inflate, then you can close the inner, one-way valve and blow in it to top it off. The pad is very large and comfortable. Good value for the price. I slept on it for a week with no issues.

Used it a couple nights camping so far. Love the solid materials, Love the size 77"x30'"x2.5" and 3" at side bolsters. I'm 6 feet 200lbs. Great for the money. Packs up really nice for a large sleeping pad, fits in a bin. Also lightweight. Pillow bag might actually work, nice and soft but I bring house pillows. (Overlanding) Comfortable on my back and shoulders, my hip felt a little pressure since its only 2.5" thick in center and not a ton of foam inside. But firm enough for most. Quite, which is important. Side bolsters are nice I felt them a couple times, helped keep me from sliding or rolling off like other pads. As with any open cell foam, self inflating pad, let it fill then top it off with a pump that fits or use your breath. Perfect for winter at 9.5 R value. Hope this helps. Get out there.

could get it inflated

Good… the size of the bed and the quality of the material is really good. Bad…..it does not self inflate and that was one of the main reasons I bought it. We followed the directions exactly and left it for 5 hours and nothing. We didn't pack a pump because this was self inflate. It is not easily inflated manually.

It never fully inflated, but was able to fill it some more with a pump. It leaked overnight, I ended up with a sore back, and just threw it away.

The sleeping bag did not self inflate. Had to use a hand pump to inflate. The thickness of the mat was insufficient. After hand airing the mat, I laid down on it and I heard air leaking from the value. I don't intend to sleep on the ground while camping.

I bought two of these pads. Neither of them ever inflated. Called Coleman customer service. The agent was friendly, but she also couldn't figure out how to get them to inflate.

This pad was very comfortable for about 1 week and then it would deflate in less than an hour. Complete waste of money... buy something different

I didn't get this product it was substituted

I used this on two camping trips. It did not hold air. Every night I wake up sore and deflated. Having to scoot off and blow it back up every 4 hours.
