These are fantastic grills but however this grill was canceled by you "Walmart" due to out of stock. I'm giving a review because I had purchased one before and wanted this one as a second grill for strictly camping, whoever buys this model coleman will not be disappointed.
If you are a camper, this is the perfect grill for your trips! I use it at home and when camping! be sure to get the replacement griddle and burner. Now you have a grill, griddle and a burner to cover all of your camping needs! I hate using the "kitchen" in my camper! (too cramped) so I do all the cooking outside! Yay!
My Mom had a Coleman RoadTrip stand up grill and I used it. It was so easy to use and clean that I purchase my own. We live in a townhouse so our balcony so we have limited space we are family of 4 so this is perfect for us not to big or small just perfect!
I like the fact that this stove is able to fold and easily lifted into my truck. It has plenty of cooking space for a small party. Heats up quickly and I like the idea of the mote under the cooking grates. This also helps with easier cleanup. My only issue was operator error. I didn't grease or oil the grates prior to cooking. Not that my food stuck, but like any other grill, you will have to clean up after. Overall, this was a good purchase for me.
Like: 1). Assembly was pretty easy (pic's in directions could've been better); 2). Worked well outta box, e.g. no orifice adjustment need; 3). Got up to 600 degrees in 6-7 minutes (see pic); 4). It can be stored vertically Dislike: 1). No hooks to hang utensils - this just dumb. Cost would be minimal to add a couple hooks, vs. putting greasy utensils on the rather small shelves. 2). Not a big deal, but wish it had a lock mechanism to keep it in upright/usable position when using grill, e.g., in case you want to move it - which often happens at tailgate parking lots. Instead, the stand pops/comes out of bracket if you try to move it.
Very nice. Cooks well but I like my older model better. This one cooks more like a griddle than a grill due to the large tray you must keep water filled. There are also no hooks for hanging utensils. Beats the competition.
this seems to be of good quality, however after unboxing and assembling the side handle pulled out. the rivets are too short to properly hold on the handle. this grill hasn't been used yet and already has to be fixed. it will require longer rivets for the handles and I assume the lid will be the next to come apart. I am going to just fix all the rivets with the proper length myself rather then send it back
Overly cumbersome and cheap materials. The wheels are a joke, made of plastic, won’t hold up long term given the weight of the unit. Also mine didn’t bolt in securely all the way. The locking mechanism is very flimsy, looks like an after thought. It kicks open and closes easily, so that’s good. Overall it’s too heavy and strangely shaped to be easily portable. The fact that the cast iron grill panels don’t lock or clamp to the inside makes me scared to roll it around with them inside. Not well thought out, needs more time in the design room.
like the grill but it arrived with broken grill plate. Didn't want to repack and send entire grill. called conpany but having a difficult time getting a replacement
This grill has so much potential but it is cheaply made. Using it the first time I was holding the handle to pull out the shelf and the handle broke right off. I wasn’t lifting it up just elf it to pull the shelf out to stabilize the grill as it is very wobbly.
