Instantly cleaned my glass top range with a bit of soap and water. Looks like new!
price and works well
The EarthStone Grill Cleaning Block is seriously a game-changer for grill lovers like myself. This thing easily tackles all that nasty grease and grime on the grates, leaving them squeaky clean for the next cookout. Plus, that handy handle makes it a breeze to use.
I liked the fact that I had an alternative to cleaning the barbecue grill with something other than a wire brush. Wire brushes are potentially dangerous and can unknowingly leave wire strands on the food you barbecue. This can lead into an emergency I wasn't planning on. So this brush is a great alternative and effectively cleans the grill well.
this is by far my favorite grill brush. I love how well it cleans the grates. there is no metal pieces chip off like the other grill brushes. there is 1 huge down fall being it is a stone it does make a littlw bit of a mess but I would say take a wet paper towel and wipe the grates or blow it off and it will come right off. another down side is do not leave it in the rain, it gets soaked up in the stone and then you can not use it until it dries out again. plus side you can buy refills for it and its decently cheap.
I always used metal grill brushes but out of safety concerns with the bristles getting into food, wanted to try something else. This worked great and got the grill clean. The heat seems like it will wear it down eventually, unlike a metal grill brush, but at the price point it is a good solution
Great at cleaning but you will only get one use out of it. It wears down fast After cleaning one grill which took less than 4 minutes the stone was worn down to the handle. I thought this would be a better alternative to a wire brush grill cleaner. Although a wire brush grill cleaner is good I seen a news report that a woman got a bristle stuck in her throat that required surgery to remove after eating a burger she made on the grill she just cleaned. looks like I am going to go back to the scrubber pad type of grill cleaner. the only problem with that is you can't use that type of grill cleaner on a hot grill.
Pieces of this product broke away when trying to clean the grill.. would not recommend.
Very unsatisfied after reading all the reviews. Block just falls right out of the handle. Hard to get in between the grates and it disintegrated as you used it so unless you wipe the grated down or hose them off I'm sure you're eating a powder left behind from the block.
I was excited to use it because I don't feel safe with using the wire brush to clean the grill because of in the past finding metal bristles in my cook food. The ceramic brick cleaner does not clean the grill it just sheds the ceramic on the grill and leaves dust and ceramic bits on the grill so I will not use it because I don't want that in my food.
